She must be the kinda person who is cranky during the day.
Scratch that, isnt she smiling here too? www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=169And why am i thinking about "The Beatles"? "A Hard Day's Night" playing in my head. Its almost like they are sneaking off to a concert or something.

That's another 113 on Margo's scarf.
I think Janet's presence makes it more likely that Winsbury will be showing up. Assuming they're still together.
I really like the lavender outline-y effect in the second and third panels.

Mezzaphor just said everything I wanted to say.

Isn't "Then let us away" bad english or something?

Maybe Janet's slipping into her archaic-style speech patterns again, as in her encounter with Mort.

Isn't "Then let us away" bad english or something? Yes. But it's poetic.

Janet also sort of smiles here, where we also find Margo and there's a typo in the comic.

Ooh, actually, judging from the comic above, what if one of the aforementioned boys is Sullivan's John? It'd be cool to learn more about some of the court's characters who have so far taken only background roles.

Not much to say... too much work to do... the art is great, loving this chapter so far

There's something written here. Single... Single something.

It think it says single bound, and it is an easter egg that references that one comic in fangs of summer time.

What one comic in fangs of summertime?

The one where the appropriate sound effect would be "Single bound" for Eggers' magnificent jumpin ability.
It's good to see Janet again! She is a champion. I wonder if she'll play a large part in this chapter; I predict there'll at least be some discussion of her *ahem* family ties.

Apparently the kids at the Court are no longer so afraid of Kat ratting on them to her parents, if they're letting her come along. (Of course, Janet's the Headmaster's daughter - and they don't seem afraid of her ratting on them either. In fact, she seems to be in charge.)

I, for one, must say that the lightning on the last panel is just awesome and win and gold. Really cinematic.

What is the with the purple aura around Janet and Margo?

I imagine it's an artistic effect concerning the combination of nighttime and the color of the school walls.

I imagine it's an artistic effect concerning the combination of nighttime and the color of the school walls. Then why is it not also around Kat and Antimony?

Because they never stand in front of a pitch black background. It's really just to add some some sneaky atmosphere.

Now would be a good time to add Margo (and John) to the cast page.
