Page 33, and we have yet to see the thumbnail (unless that was distorted, as well?) Can't remember who originally spotted it, but it's here. Right side, center. Edit: A quick look at the page thread says it was ohthatone who found this one.

Just a note that I've put my comic comment archiving script on a host where it can run more regularly instead of on my laptop. It runs every Mo/We/Fr morning a few hours before the comic updates and makes sure the page is crawled by the Wayback Machine, so you can view the archived comments at an URL of the form web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.gunnerkrigg.com/?p=2200&comments=1 , updating the comic number in the URL (2200 in this example). It has run for some time already (earliest I could find just now was from late February 2018), but you will see the occasional gap. Of course, the main page with comments at web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.gunnerkrigg.com/?comments=1 gets archived too, but not as systematically.

Damn it Eglamore, we can't just stop in the middle of a fight sequence for long-winded introductions! What do you think this is, a visual novel?!

If James falls in love with Green Girl and finally moves on from Surma, I'll be pleasantly surprised. I was literally about to jump on and make the same general comment. Not sure Tom has time in the story to devote to that, but I'd love to see Eglamore move on and find some happiness.

Don't get me wrong, i love me some fantasy romance, but i find myself hungering for stories where the characters don't always get paired up romantically (ships aside. ships are just fun.) Personally i think the Hunger Games would have been a much stronger story if the main characters worked at being friends instead of lovers, but i digress. That said, it could be a neat device to mark the start of the Court and Forest getting along. Like, what if Jean's story didn't end tragically? this probably belongs more in wild spec, though.

Eggs: "So... some fight, huh?" *punch* Anwyn Fist: "Uh, yeah." *flying kick* Eggs: "... you didn't come here in a dragon zord, did you? Haha." *cuts wisp in two* Anwyn Fist: "What?!" Eggs: "You know, like the Green Ranger. Or would that make you our very own Forest Ranger? *winks and finger guns* Anwyn Fist: "Sweet mercy man, that guy over there is getting his eyes stung out!"
Eglamore has only dated Jones lately. I imagine his flirt skills are very rusty.

Wait, does Renard have access to Annie's fire powers now? He looks very excited about it at any rate! It came up in his conversation with Parley recently. Apparently he needs Annie's permission, so I'm assuming she did that off-panel somewhere on this page (or maybe through their mind-link).

It'd be a start - but there'd still be the problem of the Court's projects undermining the etheric structure that preserves the Forest. Until they solve that one, there won't be much hope for genuine peace.

Cvet panel 3: Looking ready to pull out the wisps wings and legs one by one and watch them squirm --and hear the lamentations of their... larvae, I guess? Aside from Forest!Paz and maybe a scuff on George's cheek I don't see any injuries on anyone so I'm thinking the wisp colony took out most of the Court's heavy hitters without much of a struggle. Egger's sword was still scabbarded. That makes them dangerous even if the forest dudes have commonly-available charms that block wisp mind control. One would think wisp extermination would be a priority for both Court people and forest dudes, and maybe that common interest would be something both communities could bond over. Wait, does Renard have access to Annie's fire powers now? He looks very excited about it at any rate! It came up in his conversation with Parley recently. Apparently he needs Annie's permission, so I'm assuming she did that off-panel somewhere on this page (or maybe through their mind-link). I'm thinking that Renard meant he needs the Antimonies' acquiescence, not explicit permission. They're all so much in favor of wisps being roasted that he doesn't have to ask.

(Edit: not sure where Annie stands on the matter of buff green ladies, though) I do not see evidence of Annie being unhappy because of being single since that one page at the end of Torn Sea. Agreed. Annie hasn't really shown any interest of that sort in any of the other characters so far, except Kamlen maybe. The only way I could see it playing out and not feeling forced was if her natural prerogative to pass on the fire spirit and die comes about at some point. But Annie has so much of her dads personality in her, it wouldn't surprise me if she just decides not to in the end.
