Okay, so... maybe they're standing really close but just can't perceive each other. ... I still need more info, this is a doozy! Is that creature actually shapeshifting or is this some weird etheric perspective-made-reality craziness going on? Is there even really a monster? Anyone else got any ideas?

Neat. It's one of those T-1000 things. I'm betting on Kat to deal with it.

Again in-page-people, there's a possibility there are SEVERAL giants...
There's also the possibility they're all just... shifted... they should more closely describe landmarks nearby, perhaps the two Giant-hunter groups are actually in the same space?

Did the big golem disappear now that its hand started to walk off? Or did it grow a new hand? Or is it missing a hand now?
If it's the first scenario, I'm imagining the story will continue something like this:
"...and the smaller humanoid hit the ground with its fist again, turning in an even smaller humanoid. This process repeated again, and it repeats until this day, but the humanoid is so small, it can't be seen anymore."

Okay, so... maybe they're standing really close but just can't perceive each other. That's an awesome theory! They'll only find out once they bump into each other. Is there even really a monster? Maybe the monster is the etheric form of one of their friends?

Oh, it's one of those. Remember that time when the whole planet became one of these guys? Man, that was annoying!

Looks like the real monster was the friends we made along the way.

Maybe that group trip, for psilocybin mushroom tea, was a bad idea before a mission. Those scones, though!

So how many people think it's Eglamore landing after jumping?

My wild guess: I don't think the monster is actually there. Or rather, there is something there, but it's not a monster.
What Parley sees as a giant fist is somebody jumping, leaping or flying toward her. Maybe even Cvet. (The "rest of the body" is just an illusion.)
How? Because the bip worked. Or Cvet's flying worked. Or both. Even if they think it didn't.
I get the feeling that the group is not separated as they think they are. They think they are because the wisps are rendering people invisible, or making them hallucinate, or making allies look like monsters. Or all of the above.
(But if Cvet is "attacking" Parley, what about Annie? Maybe she's not actually standing next to Cvet anymore, and for the illusion to work, Cvet has to "see" her.)
Yeah, crazy, I know. But that's what the wisps want.

So how many people think it's Eglamore landing after jumping? The fist could be Eggy. It's been several pages since we got a good look at what he was doing. Also, whenever Annie is in the ether, the audience gets a limited view of "the real world."

Is the monster everywhere Or everywhen?

I agree with this, the monster as a giant distraction from the real trick that the wisps have induced recognition-blindness or something and are trying to get them to fight each other to lower the threat significantly.

I've yet to catch on the retrospectives, but this would be Red's brightest hour, by his power to not be fooled through illusions. (Or Kat's NoNonSenseVision-o-matic?)
