If I knew I might be hallucinating I'd be very careful teleporting. Also not sure if they should be using the giant figure in the distance for a rendezvous point. Someplace that has some cover might be a good idea, from there they can observe and maybe plan.

Superpowers failing at a plot-critical moment? Well I never.

Someplace that has some cover might be a good idea, from there they can observe and maybe plan. I interpreted that orders as the giant figure being the only common reference point on an otherwise seemingly senses-messing environment (and yes,it is a stretch to then not to think that the Giant is not an hallucination also)

Hey people, there might be MULTIPLE GIANTS! Or multiple time lines. The bipping probably doesnt work across time line boundaries, thus confirming my theory that every team has its own space time continuum to work with. Only the now almost useless Anniephone works (provided by ReynardCorp), and that only because the ether is probably whats separating spacetime lines.
I guess every team has to complete its task on its own, only communicating with the Anniephone on their progress.

So basically... it's a super-cool escape room where your team gets split up at the beginning and you are only allowed to communicate through a walkie-talkie... that is metaphysically implanted into one person's head...

Forest!Annie: "Oh good! Both of you just head toward the gigantic monster and you'll meet up!" Cookies to you zbeeblebrox . Superpowers failing at a plot-critical moment? Well I never. Well, the ones we didn't know of before are working (the Annie-Walkies, and the clappy compass). And the most useful one is the one that was just delivered by Santa Plot.

With the specter of wisps in our heads, there's no way for us to tell what's real. Or who, for that matter. A wild spec idea has been bouncing around in my head for days. What if, they're all wisps. The pod, that Eggs cut open, was empty because it was theirs. This is merely the wisps' way of sizing up enemy tactics.
I'm sure the idea will be proven wrong in a few pages, but that single mention of wisps has but everything in a weird headspace.

if we see no sign of Cvet flitting around the monster soon, we will know that either (a) its an illusion, or (b) there is more than one monster....

The distortions of space and time are causing George to see herself, warped and resized, at what she thinks is another location... so when she tries to teleport to it, she's teleporting to herself.
And she can't teleport to herself because that space is already occupied... by herself.

A very bippy way of doing absolutely nothing.

Obvious references have already been done in the page comments:

I'm surprised no one has jumped on the possible idea that she might just be incapable of teleporting with a Familiar that isn't hers.
