From the Questions to Tom thread: Would you be averse to a wiki being set up to accumlate information on the comic (and possibly surrounding stuff like mythology or alchemy as well)? I reackon it'd help some of us get more of the circular and tangential references (which are the most brilliant thing about GKC) and would help people not asking you billions of previously answered questions too... I wouldn't frown on it, but as an external fan project it wouldn't be officially tied to the comic. Way to go jubal. Here's the link again: gunnerkrigg.wikia.com/ |

Is there anyway that we could donate some money to make the ads on the wiki go away, similar to how we can donate to remove the ads on this forum? |

While I don't know how to remove them "normally", you can use this plugin to make them disappear. It works everywhere too. (I didn't even know there were ads on the main site until two weeks - I'm horrified. But my commissions give me clear conscience  ) |

Hey, I know this thread is super duper old and dead, but I didn't necessarily want to start a new one for this. Also it's cool to see how long ago the Wiki got started.  I've started doing some general editing to a few pages since we've gotten (and will continue to get) a lot of new information from this chapter. Adding images and fixing grammar and spelling here and there as well. Figured I might put the call out to others who might want to do a sweep of a couple of pages, or for people who don't even know it exists! It's pretty great. www.gunnerkrigg.wikia.com |
