Looks like I was wrong twice last comic, it was neither Coyote nor "Loup." It's a message seed. Also the Court's defenses are still doing something. Yay.

Well this puts paid to some of the discussion in the other thread: The bunker complex IS inside the Court.
So he's not actually there, so can't actively do anything to ruin their day. Except he wouldn't send this for no reason.
So.. What's he already done?

I believe we're finally about to get an explanation for the two Annies.

I believe we're finally about to get an explanation for the two Annies. I believe you are correct. After last comic I was expecting "Loup" to say some motivating things to get the "gifts" back faster but he's leading off with the limitations of what he can do right now to contact them without breaking his promise. That would be counterproductive if he was going to talk about threats and sweeteners. So, since he waited until both Antimonies were alone, he's probably going to talk about the nature of his "trick."

I can't figure out if this pre-recorded message has been put on a loop.

This is giving me flashbacks from that Doctor Who episode about the weeping angels... Well, the first one anyways. On a ligher note, the image of Loup jumping off that flower might go well with that image of a running Paz ... You know, running towards Annie with creepy smiles

Pretty sure he will tell them something that will ruin their day. "Oh by the way, that six months difference between the two of you? THAT'S HOW LONG ONE OF YOU HAS TO LIVE!" "What?! Which one?" "Hahahahahaa, that's the trick!"

Leave the message after BEEEP! The joke is on the Annies, this really is Loup and he is just pretending to be a message.

Well this puts paid to some of the discussion in the other thread: The bunker complex IS inside the Court. Devil's advocate says: Maybe it is to be understood differently, and actually Loup could finally find the Annies now, because the bunker is outside the Court.

A race for his items, and the first one to gather them all, is the "flame" left lit? So he's not actually there, so can't actively do anything to ruin their day. Except he wouldn't send this for no reason. *3 am, the Headmaster's residence* Message Loup: "Hello again!" Headmaster: "Oh, for Krigg's sake!" Message Loup: "Sooo. I was sitting hear think about the latest gossip." Headmaster: "Will this harassment never end?!" Message Loup: "Tom and Giselle broke up. Can you believe it?" Headmaster: "... O-Oh my. But they were such a lovely couple..."

S!loop: "I can't respond to you" Courtnie: *immediately asks question* I suppose we could call that "se Louper" 11) It's a familiar expression for "to make a mistake" but it looks like it would mean "to wolf yourself" 22) Tom gave us an occasion to make French puns, you bet je vais pas la louper I'm not gonna miss it!

Reiteration: This will not end well. Based on Tom's previous work, I also don't expect a clear or clean resolve shortly.

Thank you for calling the LOUP LINE! If you would like to make reservations, please say ONE, now! If you know the extention of the party you would like to reach, please say TWO, now! If you have tried the LOUP LINE previously and were dissatisfied with your service, please say THREE, now! If you believe you have gotten this message in error, please hang up now, or stay on the line to speak with an official representative! Your call is important to us. Heeheehee!

Can I say I was sort of right last thread? About Loup not being able to see into the court still and needing something to do it for him? The ever important seeds continue to pop up... Nobody captivated by how tiny Loup is really cute? Do you also think Chuckie from Child's Play is cute because he's small? I'm personally not keen on a psychotic all-powerful entity no matter the form they take (and being all powerful, they could take any form they wish, really)... If we don't get a moment of Loup answering a question "from the future" asked by them before the end of this message, I will very much think less of Loup's powers.

Well this puts paid to some of the discussion in the other thread: The bunker complex IS inside the Court. Well, yes. IF he is honest about it. And IF the seeker cannot just follow Annies anywhere; Loup expected them to be inside the shield back when he sent this message, but this doesn't guarantee it's actually the case now. So he's not actually there, so can't actively do anything to ruin their day. Does not follow. He can send pre-programmed things. With unknown limitations on capabilities, and even more clumsy than what he would do with real-time control. The joke is on the Annies, this really is Loup and he is just pretending to be a message. Possibly. But unlikely — Loup does not seem as sneaky as Coyote, just capable of doing complicated things for ultimately straightforward plans. Then again, he's still unstable.

Nobody captivated by how tiny Loup is really cute? I was desperately hoping he'd stop being cute after the yawn in the last page. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. He's just so... so furry and smoll...
*reaches down, pets mini-Loup a few times* *is immediately devoured by manically laughing jaws of pure chaos and violence* *screams, "TOTALLY WORTH ITTTTTT"*

I think Courtnie is asking a rhetorical question.
I wonder how many "wrong numbers" Loup "called" before he found the Annies; I hope that's the bonus page.

This better not turn out to be a deus ex flore (or deus ex semine) where two Annies "merge" back into one by pure fiat on Loup's part.
