So Coyote often chose to remain unknowing Wouldn't that be 'ignorant' instead of 'unknowing' ? Also, typo alert: "he can take the Y sky"

Next time, just try some ketamine, Coyote. Like a continent's-worth of Vitamin K, my good sir.

I am curious now how Coyote viewed his theft of Ys's memories. By this logic, withdrawing them could be a gift, except that that doesn't line up with the choices Coyote made about which memories to take.
Also, is Loup saying that Coyote's decision makes sense despite his understanding of Ys, or that Coyote at that moment did not know what would happen? Or maybe there's no difference because he would have to choose to forget in the first place, which itself is tantamount to making the decision?

But I think its a typo

I like the idea that rather than being the sort of god who cares about its worshippers and attends to prayers, Coyote is only concerned with his own happiness. And that there is monotony in omniscience.
Also, Annie is a brave brave girl for getting angry with Loup. Dumb but brave. If it were me in this situation, I would just be nodding and smiling.

Also I'm really digging the way Annie's hair looks.

But I think its a typo The most likely answer. Remember, Tom is writing this comic on his own, without editors, beta-readers, or anyone else to help him prepare it for release. In a sense, we're his beta-readers.

Also I'm really digging the way Annie's hair looks. This may have been discussed before, but it seems even more fiery now that's she's been disconnected from her blinker stone. We didn't used to see the yellows and reds in her hair. Perhaps an indication of what Renard was saying here. Speaking of which, I hope Renard reappears in the story soon. I think it's weird that he's just sort of dropped out.

I also notice Loup seems to speak of Coyote in both the past and present tense interchangeably.

So Coyote knew that Ysengrin would kill him, eat him, and steal his strength....but he didn't know what would happen after that! And purposefully had no plan. No plan, indeed. What a way to go out. And we've finally hit the comic that matches our calendar year! HAPPY COMIC #2018, EVERYONE!

Maybe being ACTUAL fire-headed is a side-effect of being truly in tune with her inner fire spirit.

In other words, Coyote was like: "Life is boring--I'm gonna try death for a change!"
(Which he can do because he's Coyote and he'll always come back.)

So next obvious step is for "Loup" to marry Annie since he hasn't married a firehead girl before. Which will make Renard take over Loup using his "take over anything with eyes" power. (Callback to coyote can't kidnap Renard back to forest because he loves Annie)
Then Coyote uses the parts he left behind to restore himself.

I wanted to talk about how much Loup scares me but that last Coyote's face is just too hilarious. Also is the implication here that he choose not to know things was that he was eating his own memories and thoughts just like he was doing with Ysengrin? And that Loup might have all of that too? I don't think he cares about fun as much as Coyote did and so won't do the same with his knowledge as Coyote did...

I still suspect that one of the main reasons why Loup is going on about this is to draw Annie's attention away from her purpose in coming to Gilltie Woods to speak with him - keep her so busy thinking about things like Coyote's strange nature that she'll all but forget about the Court's straits and her intent to beg Ysengrin - or what she thought was Ysengrin - to leave it alone.
