Reestablishing the plants' connection to the Forest... possibly trying to redraw the borders to something further than where Coyote left it?

Huh, so that's what Kat meant when she said the park was inside the court. I think this is the first chance we've had to appreciate the Court's real size. There's no way a place this big could be kept a secret conventionally, I wonder if a tree that size appearing suddenly might disrupt the concealment?

So, the seeds are working like a Proxy for all the "decontaminated" previous Gilitie samples?

The interoot regards censorship as damage to be routed round...
So there was Robot's arm, growing quietly and minding its own business, when it heard "The Call of the Wold!"

So, the seeds are working like a Proxy for all the "decontaminated" previous Gilitie samples? I saw it more inthe context of "showing the humans how weak they truely are". The humans thought they had decontaminated and broken all links to the forest of these items, CoyGrin is now showing them exactly how wrong they are, and how powerful the forest can be.

So whose bright idea was it to move robot's arm into that open space? And kudos to all who found the related pages so quickly. (I kinda had forgotten about that part of the story).

With the element of surprise, Ysenote's had a clear run so far. It won't be so easy now the laser cows have some length deviation to work with.

Remember that scene from Ferngully where the machines cut down the trees and all the forest animals scramble for cover?
This is like the opposite of that.
This is why we cut down trees, folks.

This definitely feels like the beginning of the endgame for the comic, even if we've still got 20 chapters to go. Every McGuffin ever is coming into play.

I'd honestly be relieved if that were the case. That's better than "showing the humans how weak they truly are" by.....you know, murdering people. Not to say people getting hurt while all this is going on might not be something that happens incidentally, but at least that wouldn't be the goal they were aiming for. Okay, forget the court, something just occurred to me.....forest creatures vs. the robot cult in the upcoming comic-ending war?

And the dead would be able to learn nothing. It makes better sense to me that the goal here is not to kill, but to chastise while leaving the humans alive to realize how wrong they'd been to dismiss the forest and its inhabitants as of little importance. Assuming that the Court doesn't take away the wrong lesson from this and decide to retaliate instead of learning some humility and starting to treat the people of Gilltie Wood as equals.

Assuming that the Court doesn't take away the wrong lesson from this and decide to retaliate instead of learning some humility and starting to treat the people of Gilltie Wood as equals. Which would be the typical human response.... Let's see if the Bound Dogs will come back to life as well. And what will happen if the resident Dryad tries to control or travel through that new tree there?

I've had a fairly dark thought. What about all the students that were once Forest creatures? They left the Forest for their own "reasons?" and may have no allegiance to the Forest, but the Court may not see it that way. In the coming panic, could we see forced camps of ex-Forest students and other Forest-leaning creatures? Poor Elsie and Bunny-guy. NEXT CHAPTER: I think it's time to summon the Megazord..... It should take the form of a giant Laser Cow, with a bright neon nose-ring.

Knowing human nature (and based on the Court's past track record), I fear you may be right about that.

Which would be the typical human response.... Too true, I fear. At least, the bridge's destruction would limit the Court's ability to strike back - assuming they don't have air strike capability. (Which isn't necessarily a given. The Court seems primarily a place of scientific research, not a military base. While they've developed a few pieces of weaponry, that's not their primary goal - as I mentioned in another post, we don't even know if the Omega Device is a weapon, or something that can be used as a weapon.)
