Coysengrin's ear looks notably smaller than before.
In the last panel, is it his actual enlarged hand reaching out, or is it the trees of the entire forest?

Got a mischievous glint to his malevolence now. Can it be... The Curse of the Claw!

You know, I should be horrified but honestly the eyebeams and grin in the first panel just make this goofy.

well that is just terrifying, hopefully Twain is just waving good bye. or that Twain plans to wait for them to cross the bridge before destroying it. really hope Twain isn't planning to attack the two mediums. it would be very bad publicity.
I really wonder when Tom will reveal this new character's name. kind of hoping for Twain or something similar, as long as it's not a portmanteau.

Ysengrin personally guaranteed Antimony's safety in the forest. Even though he's power tripping and the bridge isn't the forest I'm reasonably sure that the main character isn't going to get squished here on purpose. Ol' Smitface of the supporting cast is another story but I figure he's got enough plot armor to survive. What I'm curious about is if this is an effort to capture or a (probably doomed) attempt to smash, and if the latter if the bridge will survive.

Kinda what I expected. His goofy pokemon-like appearance is a deliberate contrast to the absurd amount of violence and destruction he is about to lash out.

Well they're on the bridge now so technically............. I don't think that Ysengrin would be bound by promises in the same way Coyote is but I think Ys' promise is evidence that he doesn't particularly want to squish Antimony.

If they've made it to the bridge then Parley and Eglamore should be around too right? Hopefully they can step in!

Coysengrin's ear looks notably smaller than before. In the last panel, is it his actual enlarged hand reaching out, or is it the trees of the entire forest? Good catch! It looks like an enlarged hand composed of the trees of the forest (it erupts from their trunks, not as a separate body part); it's like an amped up version of Ys's forest control power maybe. Before, as plain ol' Ys, he could enlarge his personal tree wrapping, like when he was chasing Annie and Eggs... now he can actually possess a whole chunk of the forest and reform it as an extension of himself. Ys's forest power crossed with Coyote morphing ability (and some possession ability, not lost entirely to Rey?).... really suggests that they are both in there, or at least the abilities of both.

Honestly, he just wants a high-five from Annie over his ascension to power. What is everyone freaking out about?
Tom might do a fast one, and have the hand pass them by. Ignoring our runners on the bridge (and the bridge itself), what else could Y be grabbing for? An entire admin building to have a "talk" with the Headmaster and staff? The Ether lake power plant for crushing? Something the Court's been holding since the river formed?

Got a mischievous glint to his malevolence now. Can it be... The Curse of the Claw! I definitely sense a different sort of imbalance added to his personality - First it was his rage & missing mind bits, now there's this capricious ease about him. Grinyote might exploit a novel privilege thanks to his strength: the luxury of toying with other powerful people/groups, rather than fighting tooth & nail for hard victory. Thematically, this could bite him in the ass, but he could stop manage to wreak some chaos til then.
