Reading the title of this chapter actually made me feel nauseous.
I felt a pang of sadness I haven't felt for this web comic in a long while.
You're not worthless, Ysengrin...

Yes, more Coyote Ysengrin stories.

Is it just about Ysengrin though? I wonder if we'll see more about the robots this chapter...

It took me a minute or two to work out why all the comments were about Ysengrin, then I realised that the image wasn't the moon...
I've been wanting to know more about Ysengrin forever, so hopefully this will clarify his relationship with Coyote more. But are we going to hear it from Ysengrin, or are we going to have Coyote gloat and show Annie all the memories he has stolen?

Could it be Tony? He thinks of himself as worthless.

"It was worth it" => Memories of the worthless. That was my first thought. Then I read the other comments below, and I am all "oh noes oh noes oh nope nope nope".

Well, after a lighthearted chapter, it's time for a heavy one.

Hmm... Assuming this is a Ysengrin chapter, I wonder if we'll be seeing all of the memories Coyote has seen fit to "relieve" him of.

Anyone else think "Memories of the Worthless" sounds like the title of a metal album?
Anyway, I'm going to echo what many people are saying and say that I'm excited for what's to come but also dreading the inevitable emotional pummeling. Poor Ysengrin...

A full chapter on Boxbot? Terrible I say it would last 1 page at most

Oh god. I'm anticipating this chapter as much as I'm afraid of the emotional trauma it will bring (to our characters and ourselves).

I've been looking forward to (and dreading?) the story, that this seems to be. It could end up being quite topical, considering the current public discussion on consent. If he agreed to this arrangement with Coyote, is he in a mental position to even remember agreeing to the situation he's in? Worse, I bet Coyote could convince him he gave consent, even if he didn't.
That's ignoring less sticky questions: Is it for Y's own "good"? ("good" being very relative) Is it the price he paid for the wooden body? Sweet mercy, what is Coyote getting out of this? Excuse me, while I go try to shake off the heebie jeebies.

Sorry for lowering the air pressure around the world this morning with how much air I sucked in on seeing the chapter cover. Also for distracting all your dogs with the high pitched "eeeeeeeee" I released. This is gonna be... a chapter indeed. A chapter indeed.

Sorry I can't find the proper "wild speculation" thread to post this: I speculate that this chapter is about the forgotten forest army, in which one of that buch deems himself worthless, even bullied by the others, something like that, and, in a moment of desperation, seeks his demise "Suicide by Jeanne's sword", only to fall to the river, and find, speechless, that there is no more Guardian of the river. He could try to prove himself to the army, triggering an invasion.

No. It just clicked. Do you know what that is? It's the "light at the end of the tunnel" that you see when you die, or in this work, the door into the Ether.
