This must have come out about the same time as "The Virus"*.
*I never owned "The Virus", but heard about it from a promotion slip that came with a hard drive for my Amiga.

900BX reviews were all terrible. Worthless piece of overpriced junk.

This is a brilliant parody of the ad pages we used to have in hobbyist electronics magazines when I worked on them in the Eighties. The style is so realistic I had to zoom in and read all the text just to confirm Tom hadn't taken an actual page of the time, and simply dropped in the video game advert. Bravo!

People forget what a revolution the original release of A Video Game was.
Prior to it, Players were *not* allowed. A Video Game heralded a complete reworking of how people interacted with the medium, and was rightly a massive success as a result.

I could really use a Toshi, but the basic model doesn't do much and the accessories are pretty pricey.

Double salted for extra salty gamers. This is a brilliant parody of the ad pages we used to have in hobbyist electronics magazines when I worked on them in the Eighties. Ditto, it reminds me of the photography trade ones too. Back in the days when Radio Shack still actually sold parts for radios. [edit] And learning basic and cobol on TRaSh-80s in high school, for that matter. [/edit]

I'm more in awe of the fact that A Video Game actually contained graphics despite such limited, primitive hardware. The developers of old managed to do so much with so little!

Ah, memories from the time when the Court briefly toyed with going commercial.
It didn't go too well.
