"It's not magic!" she said, after having drawn a dry eraser board and pen out of thin air and explaining the entire process to Annie and Rey with formulas and Venn-diagrams and stick figures.
"That's just what a wizard would say!" exclaimed both Annie and Rey.

How will transferring matter to different locations gonna be super valuable for Kat's work on the robot bodies? Making tools appear and disappear may be handy, but it doesn't seem necessary. Kat seemed to be getting along just fine without this feature.
It would be awesome for Kat to summon Coyote's Tooth, Diego's Arrow, her Etheric Disruptor, or her Fanatical Army of Killer Robots. Still don't see how that helps build bodies.

The Agatha Heterodyne school of magic. Heh. "It's not magic!" she said, after having drawn a dry eraser board and pen out of thin air and explaining the entire process to Annie and Rey with formulas and Venn-diagrams and stick figures. "That's just what a wizard would say!" exclaimed both Annie and Rey. "Magic." "Magic isn't enough to do that! You'd have to be a god!" Kat blinked. "That's the first time I've ever been called that."

Perhaps, Katurday is just a nice thread-tying chapter? But I still have this weird feeling, that something ominous is right around the corner... Maybe, it was the inclusion of Diego's Arrow that spooked me.

"Proteins!"
Kat really has a hard time identifying the important aspect of her work, doesn't she?
=== Either that, or she's spot on, which is rather more worrying. Proteins and robots are more important than levitation and teleportation?

Still don't see how that helps build bodies. Would it be possible to go from matter transference to consciousness transference, though? It's the biggest issue to put robots in a fully non-mechanical body. Renard is a being who can switch bodies and the arrow was able to trap souls... so, maybe that's what she's trying to find out.

I guess Kat becoming an elder god does make more sense then becoming a super villain.
