Aww...Shadow got even cuter. Edit: What do y'all think Shadow's voice sounds like? I can easily imagine any of those characters speaking, but for some reason not sure about Shadow. Links to YouTube are welcome. Maybe he's got a "little excited boy" voice?

I've always imagined him/her/it Shadow as having a very whispery voice, as the physical form isn't as solid as a human and so not as good at bending air flows etc to make sound. Since that comic that aline posted, Shadow has become 3D, and no longer has tables and other surfaces to vibrate and make noise with, and so only has air to use.

I've imagined Shadow sounding like a little boy ever since he became 3D. Kinda like a more reserved Mort.
Off topic, I feel like Shadow and Mort would have been really good friends.

Somehow, Robot's slow modification into a pseudo-biological entity unnerves me far more than any previous bio-to-robot or robot-to-bio transformation I have encouraged in fiction, including Mannequin from Worm. I think it is probably because of the shady religious connotations our once-endearing Robot puts on it.

Well...Coyote is the most expressive creature we know. So Antony does know about Shadow2. Still, I can't help feeling that Kat really ought to have given Shadow2 and Robot the same "wait until the grown-ups have left" instructions she gave Reynardine. Let's hope that neither Antony nor Juliette asks how Robot wound up in a wheelchair.

Yeah, it'd probably be totally fine if it weren't for the fact that Robot is almost assuredly going to be super weird about it. And the seraphs, even weirder. Though I guess the weird veiny purple "flesh" doesn't help. |

Shadow is physically solid enough to push a wheelchair around. Seems likely he's physically solid enough to push air around to make sound. Although his system for doing so may not be the same as ours.
(Actually, his system is to persuade Tom to decree that he made sound.)
