So unless I'm. Reading this wrong...
Is Tony about to be the... erm... anatomical model for a certain part of Arthur? Because if so, this Katurday just got much more awkward. Which is impressive, as I didn't know that was possible.

Anthony's tendency towards not talking in groups finally comes in handy. And it's funny to imagine him testing the apparatus.

Well, at least people with active imaginations will now be able to add that saucy element to the robo-relationship going on.

So THAT is why Carver says that things require some additional work! Annie just don't know (Kat, maybe, to?) what is it like to have that part and did not interact with it yet.

Never stop bringing the surprises Tom.
Edit: That's the room with the arrow isn't it?

Because I am 12, some alternate titles for today's strip: - Tony and Arthur get to the point.
- Juliette should really have a hand in this.
- "I can get on with my interface." So that's what the kids are calling it these days.
- The next step in the process is the private part.

Oh and I can only imagine that he tells Arthur not to fiddle with his part because it will make God cry.

It's 2017 and I'm reading that part of gunnerkrigg court where Antimony's dad must assist in the creation of a robot's penis. Yes. This is that day.

Tony then went on to explain the finer points of love making for the rest of the day.

"Now that's what I call a sticky situation." " " "Remember that joke?" Tony thinking: This is completely inappropriate to talk about around my daughter... " Yes."

"Now that's what I call a sticky situation." " " "Remember that joke?" Tony thinking: This is completely inappropriate to talk about around my daughter... " Yes." After applying the same reasoning to the last comic, it becomes clear why Tony wasn't thrilled about learning Annie helped out with the first design, and we discover that Kat is really bad at boundaries.

We have seen robot birds, but we haven't yet seen robot bees.
Also, we haven't seen what Anthony's surgical specialisation was. Though prosthetics is a good bet. He might be exactly the right professional for the task.
Also, I laughed so much I annoyed the cat on my desk.
Additional edit: For having been brought up in a hospital, Annie is remarkably obtuse.

Are you saying that Anthony was disappointed that his daughter didn't understand more about male anatomy?

I... was not expecting that. But as the only male character involved I suppose Tony comes in handy for some projects. So THAT is why Carver says that things require some additional work! Annie just don't know (Kat, maybe, to?) what is it like to have that part and did not interact with it yet. Given Annie's confusion in the last panel, I imagine she never even thought about that, at all. We know she is generally clueless about anything even slightly romanticly related. We have seen robot birds, but we haven't yet seen robot bees. Also, we haven't seen what Anthony's surgical specialisation was. Though prosthetics is a good bet. He might be exactly the right professional for the task. If he was a prosthetics expert you would imagine he would have gotten himself a slightly better fake hand...

I'm going to bet that Kat and Juliette are misreading Annie. I trust Tony's and the Court education enough that Annie surely is aware of the textbook description of how human biology works; the thing she's being obtuse about is the part that Arthur might desire some privacy when those ... functionalities ... are being worked on.

Tony spent the rest of Katurday dispelling myths Arthur picked up during Arthur's previous internet research.
The coast was clear at 3 for Renard and the Readers didn't have to see Tony for the rest of the chapter.

Which is impressive, as I didn't know that was possible. I'm reading it as Tony using his knowledge of human anatomy (from being a surgeon) to give Arthur options on various parts of human anatomy that could be incorporated into the new body. They go to a separate room, because that is not the sort of thing you discuss with minors. There may be a variety of images that Anthony would be presenting to Arthur, which once again, would not be something you show minors. I find it harder to believe that she understands everything except that people generally don't talk about genitalia in public. It seems more likely that she doesn't connect her father and a robot discussing male things with selecting sexual characteristics. Most people have substantial resistance to thinking about their parents in that sort of way.

Oh and I can only imagine that he tells Arthur not to fiddle with his part because it will make God cry. Giggle. It's more annoying. And he probably knows how Coyote reacts on things by now. if so, this Katurday just got much more awkward. Which is impressive, as I didn't know that was possible. Oh, there's still some untapped potential. But most of it requires Tony's presence.

they're probably just making sure Aurthur can bench press 350, can down a 6 pack in 2 mins, and that the usage of the word "bro" takes up over half of his dictionary.

You've got a point there. This is a girl basically educated with homeschooling and books, who probably read quite a few medical texts while she was there. But Annie has shown to be remarkably bad with subtext and nonverbal cues (her father probably didn't help). She would probably know EXACTLY what they were talking about if they said it outright.

Futurama second round of Anthology of Interest had a segment where Bender becomes human. Upon his change he wonders where his antenna has gone only to "find" it in the middle region of his body and toys with it. In which Fry responds that he'll make God cry when he does that.

How does Anthony see the robots? I mean he wants to help Juliette and Arthur because he cares, and for a new hand but are there more reasons to help? Can we see Anthony get along with robots in a one on one situation like he can with one person?
