Remember, Kids. If there's an electrical source near the beginning of a deep dark and ominous passage, you should always take care to plug it in before entering said passageway. Otherwise, your friends will have to stand in an empty, dark room with a sentient, demon possessed doll and a mouse-shaped robot.
The shading in this strip is gorgeous. Love the flame effects.

I wonder what's with the D in the archway. It can't stand for Donlan, can it? After all, it's Anya's space and not Donald's.

I definitely have a bad feeling about this. Not so much the waiting in the dark, but a foreboding that whatever the lights reveal won't be pretty.
Yeah, the light and shadows are really nice.

Were he compelled to, Reynardine would protect Kat. The problem is, is he at all motivated to protect someone to who has no power over him?

The suspense just keeps building! Can't wait until Friday - even if it just means waiting for Monday again

I bet Friday will be another flashback.
Heck, there's no characters or dialogue in the final panel, that's been Tom's signal for an impending scene change or timeskip in the past.

Oh Annie! Annie, Annie Annie! Don't you know anything?! Never ever, under no circumstances split up!
No really, leaving Kat down there without a light is not a good idea.
Of course, nothing really bad is going to happen, but still!

I am very interested to see what a floodlight will do to a shadow creature. It's not going to be pretty, that's for sure.

I guess nothing, he can hang around the girls shadows. And also, about Anja's maiden name... haven't we talked the Donlans as... well... the Donlans? like if she took his last name Ok, never break parties, D&D, horror movies and the rest have teached us not to. I don't know if we're going to see some small talk bewteen Rey-Robot-Kat... or are we going to see Annie plug and hear Kat scream (either something awesome or Rey scared her)

Grue! Noooess! I love the darkness on these pages, the way there are no panel 'cause they're usually outlined in black. Beautiful

The lights will come on, and suddenly, we'll see *gasp*.... something cute and unassuming and not at all dangerous. I predict bunnybots.

I'm expecting empty robot shells, created by Kat's mom when she was younger.

Were he compelled to, Reynardine would protect Kat. The problem is, is he at all motivated to protect someone to who has no power over him? He knows that Kat is his owner's friend, and he's tried helping Kat as a means to gain Annie's favor before. I suspect Rey will want to protect Kat for his own sake, at the very least.

Noooo! Never split up in a horror/thriller/badass action movie situation! Annie will come back and they'll be gooone!
Although I can tell this chapter is gonna be pretty rad.
