We haven't seen Anthony in a while. I wonder if he has changed.

Well he's laid off on the controlling, Annie's been going where she pleases, and most importantly she's happy to see him. I think that's what matters, for now at least.

Page 30, but we're not at the end of the chapter yet. Another 2 pages, at least.
What's the Head on the Table up to?

I presume this takes place a little while later, and that Annie hasn't just put on that lab coat she's taking off in panel 2.

Palpable need for affirmation is palpable.

Annie is painfully oblivious to Kat's true feelings. I would've loved to see Kat's grimacing expressions in the middle panels.
Also, for the briefest instant, I thought Kat was meant to be smoking a joint in the last panel. That's just what my mind jumped to.

This is so much like their dads. Such a blank face, and Kat is the only one who'd have a hope in hell of correctly interpreting it, but she's still cautious because it's still hard

I'm guessing, we won't cut to an interesting meal with the Carvers (though that would be interesting), but stay with Kat and disembodied Robot. Seeing how much Tom has predicted what we'd say in the forums (and had the characters say it), I wonder if Robot will bring up Kat's Etheric form. Perhaps, he'll talk Kat into a fateful direction on the Arrow research.

Ah, I remember the days when seeing my family felt like that.
Maybe now we can learn more about the Omega Device. Heck, maybe we can have a repeat of the beginning of The Stone, where Annie starts by asking about the Omega Device.

Depending on how dinner goes, it might be time to ressurect the Goodyverse.

This is a long chapter. . .
I wonder why this is all tied in to Coyote's story?
(ominous voice) Maybe none of this is real. Maybe they are trapped by the arrow. (/ominous voice)
But seriously, which Annie is going to be the real Annie? She has moved past her father. Will be interesting to see her deal with him now.

I'm guessing, we won't cut to an interesting meal with the Carvers (though that would be interesting) I hope we will. It looks like Tom is portraying Annie more and more childlike (especially now she is wearing the hairpin again), so I kind of hope something will happen between her and Tony that brings the old Annie back. Not necessarily a confrontation, maybe even the opposite. Like an apology or explanation from Tony.

From what we've seen, I'd say we'll see Robot's cult by the end of the chapter. I wonder if that Court lady that's always spying on Kat is keeping tabs on them. I also wonder if she knows about what happened in the Torn Sea chapter.

I also wonder if she knows about what happened in the Torn Sea chapter. It certainly raises questions about the Court's awareness and surveillance capabilities if they missed the events in that one (given that the Seraphs must have been stealing a lot of Court equipment to set that plan up - followed by a whole army of robots heading out to sea). Of course, that again raises the question of why the Court didn't step in - unless we're seeing the machiavellian streak of the upper echelon members.at work again.

The Court did step in once Paz could communicate with Lindsey. We could debate what level Lindsey and Bud really hold in the Court, but I would say it is about the same as the Donlans. I believe Lindsey discharged her duties which included her intervention and a full report of the events as she knew them. We know that the Court is now keeping tabs on Kat's progress. There may be a faction with a deeper plot, but the Court as a whole seems to be taking reasonable steps given what they know.

Initially, I thought it all would revolve back to Coyote telling this all as a story. But right now, my only hope is Annie coming back to the forest and telling Coyote about her busy day.

More accurately, a couple of members of the Court's surveillance department have found out about Kat's work, but apparently decided to keep it to themselves rather than report to the higher-ups.

Do we know that they decided to keep it to themselves? The only comment was a need to monitor the situation closely. The higher ups probably know what's going on, they just haven't taken steps to interfere.
