is it just me, or is Shadow 2's color bubble a combination between Kat's and Annie's?

It does appear to have a slight bluish tinge to it.

Never before has a demon-possessed toy experienced such a sense of achievement and pride.

I'm actually startled he'd even have any issue with it.

Is Shadow2 developing his own voice? Good for him. I'm actually startled he'd even have any issue with it. If chapter 12 is any indication, physical finesse isn't Rey's preferred M.O. But is it wise to teach Reynardine, of all people, how to pick locks?

The second to last panel, there is a power plug in the bottom left corner.
Sigh. Portends and omens. Can anyone say S1? like how Robot is S13?
Anyways, I'm surprised Rey got it eventually, figured he would go "HULK SMASH!!" before that.

Man, this starts to remind me of a 80's horror movie!
Oh please let them have more common sense as to plug in that power plug before they know what it will power up! Please?

If chapter 12 is any indication, physical finesse isn't Rey's preferred M.O. Right, I had just assumed he was being lazy; hadn't occured to me he might actually have some trouble with it (or with anything really; what with him being something of a demigod/demon type and shapechanger and cousin to Coyote and all that) edit... Oh please let them have more common sense as to plug in that power plug before they know what it will power up! Please? yeeaahhh that was my first thought. My second was "Oh please plug it in oh please oh please..." :evil grin:

She had to teach him because she doesn't have any lockpicks right now, since she hid hers inside the toy... I donĀ“t see the court just giving her lockpicks just cause she asked.
Rey looks awesome
I hope the plug is for the lights or something... not a good a idea to walk around in the dark in the basement of a former mad-geniuss.

hey we're talking about Kat's mother, Anja Donlan. I hardly think of her as a mad genius. I don't think it's likely, either, that she'll have left something dangerous lying around.
Besides, it's not the style of Tom Siddel's Gunnerkrigg Court to go for the cheap thrill of a maniac robot killer zombie hiding in the cellar, is it ? I'm thinking we'll see something about the past of the girls' parents - I'm hoping for something as wonderful as the cherry tree chapter

This cellar would be a good place to use the blinker stone for some light.

Besides, it's not the style of Tom Siddel's Gunnerkrigg Court to go for the cheap thrill of a maniac robot killer zombie hiding in the cellar, is it ? tree chapter I figure you're right and that Mrs. Donlan wouldn't send her daughter to a workroom that was dangerous. Something more scary than we've previously seen may be coming soon, though. Sure, Tom has been consistently working an all-ages sort of tale but we have recently shifted into another arc of the story. Most of the events within GCv1.1, even the dangerous ones, appear to have been more about introducing characters and developing them than solving the mysteries of GC but even so there were two or three times where Antimony was in life-and-limb danger. Now Antimony has more friends and is slightly older than when she started so it would take a higher level of threat to put her in danger again. Also, I'm guessing dangerous things will happen slightly more often.
