Annie already knows Jeanne can predict Parley's moves. We were just told Jeanne can't cut free from Andrew's strings for long. My money is on Jeanne making a move on Parley on Wednesday, and Annie or Kat intervening, probably in Glorious Brave Idiot fashion, on Friday.
By the way, has anyone openly addressed Jeanne by her name yet? I feel like it is something that's waiting to happen.

This does not bode well. How many grades will Annie have to repeat, if she gets the Court Medium killed? Does the Court even have a preschool?

So that's why Jeanne appears to be flailing around wildly. There is method to her madness.
Jeanne is still forming her counter-strategy. I think Annie will try alerting George to the risk by firebombing the destination somehow.

Just remembered that the fairies should still be nearby, even though they haven't been seen yet in this chapter. If this moment of crisis is when we find out what magic Red can do, I'll be SO happy.

Not if Annie and Kat can get to Jeanne first!

Perhaps Smitty has been too busy spinning his strings to converse with Jeanne, but Parley has had plenty of time... others (and myself) have raised this before - why is it direct to confrontation rather than at least attempt to let Jeanne know what is going on... that they are trying to help her? Maybe Annie will at last intervene and show them how its done.....

Annie already knows Jeanne can predict Parley's moves. ... How does Annie know Jeanne can predict Parley's moves? Can Annie see Parley's fore-mage too? Does Annie have the ability to hear inner monologuing? After centuries alone, is Jeanne saying everything she thinks out loud (and loudly enough for Annie to hear from the river and over the outboard motor)? Fore-mage? I assume that is the image you project into the future. My google-fu insists that Tom meant fire mage, so he may have coined a new term.

Now that they've got the arrow, what would happen if the gang just popped away from there back to the court?

After centuries alone, is Jeanne saying everything she thinks out loud (and loudly enough for Annie to hear from the river and over the outboard motor)? Looking at the last page I assume either Annie has deduced this from observing Jeanne's movements from a distance, or Annie's enhanced ether-view allowed her to see the fore-image as well. Or both in some capacity. Man, Smitty's strings cannot be permanently cut, not even by rage ghost Jeanne. It#S a good thin he's probably had a good upbringing making him a hardworking and honest person. Just imagine his powers in the hands of a villian played by Mads Mikkelsen, nothing would stand in his way...

Jeanne sliced through the threads binding her to Smitty after missing Blue's head. I don't think his powers are influencing her any more. ...until he would spin more? Yum yum. Now that they've got the arrow, what would happen if the gang just popped away from there back to the court? Jeanne would probably return to her haunt. Well, either that, or follow them to finish the fight. Anyway, the tricky part is done, so Parley probably won't have to keep Jeanne occupied any more, one way or another. The question is, where's her green lad?

...until he would spin more? Yum yum. Bon appétit Either still in the arrow, or waiting on the other shore.
