Ooh! Can Jeanne teleport as well?
These pages are like Zeno's paradox: we can see the likely outcome, and every page brings that outcome half as close again.

Will they have time to recite Batty's "Tears in rain" speech? (Being fae, they probably would do that rather than use that speed power to dodge) Or... maybe it's time for the emergency banana?

But will it be Blue, or will it be Parley bipping in to save the former-fairy? I seriously hope Red's as yet unseen power is some useful protective thing... maybe her hair is so cool that it's going-upness can deflect blades or something

Red's gonna pull a heroic sacrifice? Maybe?
Tom should update five times a week. Three times is way too infrequent for this masterpiece of plot and tension.

Red's going to die saving Blue, then name her friend with her dying breath.

I see no way out of this with everybody I care about intact. And it's well-known that if a character has no name in any production it's a mark of death.

"And that is how I got the name Look Out."
Seriously though, I assume it is Parley warning them because it is in a different bubble. I guess it could be Smitty though. Or Red and it is in a different bubble for emphasis. Err, all I really know is that it isn't Blue or Jeanne.

Wait... how did Jeanne get past Parley so easily? Parley was *between* Jeanne and Blue just moments ago.... Has Jeanne been "pulling her punches" with Parley, and only now going full rage mode against the Fae?

I'm reading that "Look out!" as being from Red. If you go back a page Red's got a pretty favorable angle at seeing Jeanne inbound. Normally in comics word bubbles and their connections aren't supposed to cross... particularly if they're from different characters. Assuming that it's Red's, representing Red interrupting herself to shout a warning, I might have drawn an opening in the "Look out!" bubble at about 1:00 to connect the two. As it is, it leaves the door open to the interpretation that someone else is yelling the warning... but then I'd expect to see a "tail" on that bubble going or leading off-page to the right. Wait... how did Jeanne get past Parley so easily? Parley was *between* Jeanne and Blue just moments ago.... Has Jeanne been "pulling her punches" with Parley, and only now going full rage mode against the Fae? I'm guessing yes. Jeanne chopped up Robot but is still confused about George, so she's probably been fighting defensively.

Oh, dear. I'm really hoping this is an inception-style illusion inside of an illusion. Red was being awfully nice, after all. Short of that or a Deus Ex Machina, only a well timed 'Bip' could save the situation. What would they even put on her tombstone: "Here lies that girl."

I'm betting Parley is going to bip in... If someone dies, mourning for that character is going to take over the comic for some time. Maybe Blue will fake death again? Red's going to die saving Blue, then name her friend with her dying breath. Can named fairies name other fairies? Why do they need Annie if so?

I can't remember the source, but Tom said the Fairies don't name each other...cuz it's not a Fairy thing to do. It's a weird social thing. Could they? Yes. Do they? No, that would be rude.

I considered the Opportunity thread, but I put it here because I think it only holds up directly in context with this page. I suspect that tomorrow's page will put all kidding aside.

I fear you may be right. Not to read too much into this, but Tom does apply subtle adjustments to talk bubbles to indicate who's talking, and closer examination of that warning suggests it might have come from Jeanne herself!? (George is far more likely, of course)
