Strong enough to manipulate Annie into believing people could die in the Ether from (totally real) ether monsters. Even when she KNEW she was in a non-physical state.

Huh. A thought bubble? That's a rarity in GC, I think. (yeah, we get lots of "narration bubbles", but it's not the same )

I wonder if Parley is gonna bother using diplomacy or if she's just going to traumatize Jeanne even more.

huh...I thought they'd be bringing the Coyote Tooth blade for this rather than a regular sword.

Talk. To. Her. Use this opportunity, damnit. Parley: "Uh, sorry! Would you believe there was a fly on you? And I just wanted to show you this cool sword. And my epic pose." huh...I thought they'd be bringing the Coyote Tooth blade for this rather than a regular sword. I'm beginning to think Parley didn't want to use Coyote's Tooth after the traumatic events of Chapter 35. Maybe it will still make an unexpected appearance, but if Parley planned on using it I would think it would be now.

I were thinking of something like, "I thought one of them nearby, so I pushed you out of the way. My mistake, sorry" *sheathes sword* or "that guy was friendly till few moments ago, so I were a little on the edge, sorry" or "I were confused for a moment, I don't know what came over me" or Blue could save the day by generating shadows to "attack" both and make them fight together. Hard to do though, judging from what we've seen.

Jeanne is, of course, referring to her bangs. Talk. To. Her. Use this opportunity, damnit. Now that Blue has Jeanne under better control, maybe they can salvage the situation. Perhaps, Parley can convince Jeanne to give her some lessons.

I have a feeling things have escalated beyond the point of talking her back down, arc-of-chapter-wise. The drama started, the drama will stay until the arrow is resolved one way or another. Just a random guess, though.

Maybe it's time for the truth Parley? My thoughts exactly. "How many times must I tell you, Jeanne: why fight when you can negotiate?"

Maybe it's time for the truth Parley? Yes. Something like, "I am your friend. We are you friends. We are trying to free you, and your paramour. We had to distract you to keep you from fighting without thinking. I do not want to fight you. You don't have to fight me. Be my friend?"
