I think that may be how Jeanne's dream renders Annie. Red hair, and all. The outline looks most like Anthony Carver to me, but that seems improbable.
If not, that looks like a Nobody (from Zimmy's illusions). But Zimmy isn't involved here, and I thought that Blue had more control than her...
Or it's something else entirely, something unexpected. I'm leaning this way, because of Jeanne's choice of words.

Oh, now I get it. Now that Jeane's calmed down, she's sensed Anthony Carver has come back to the Court. To be honest, it would rattle anybody. I think that may be how Jeanne's dream renders Annie. Red hair, and all. If not, that looks like a Nobody (from Zimmy's illusions). But Zimmy isn't involved here, and I thought that Blue had more control here... Or it's something else entirely, something unexpected. I'm leaning this way, because of Jeanne's choice of words. It could just be some jam on Blue's book or Tom's representation of Blue struggling, but it is seeming more and more like there's "Sealed Evil in a Arrow" down below.

Since everybody on the shoreline already is in her dream but Smitty, I wonder, whether she is projecting him into her mind or this is done through something else.

Looks like Parley's arms are bulking up as well now that things are getting a bit wonky in the Bluniverse.

I think Daedalus is spot on about it being our firehead girl.
The arrow anchoring Jeanne's love is intimately connected to her ghost. Annie's spirit is in direct contact with it, Jeanne can't help but be aware. I hope Blue can hold on a bit longer.

So, is Blue trying to distract Jeanne by adding another component to the illusion, to make Jeanne focus on that instead of breaking out. Or is Jeanne's tortured mind hijacking the illusion and projecting some stuff Zimmy-style? Either way, Blues powers are pretty strong I must say. I thought for sure Jeanne already broke out of the spell.
I thought of Anthony in that last panel as well. Wouldn't it be hilarious if he found out about this project somehow and is now scaling the walls of the ravine down to talk some sense to these kids, only to find himself reprimanding a rage ghost for acting out of turn with that ghost sword.

I guess I will be the one who has to ask... Is this page out of order? Should it have followed page 18? What would scare Jeanne? Anthony Carver with Raggedy Ann Doll hair! I know I won't get that image out of my head today.

Hmm! I'd thought that Jeanne had managed to break the illusion. My first thought here was that Blue was seeking to regain control by drawing Andrew into the illusion: providing a focus for Jeanne's unease. However, the outline is definitely more like Tony Carver. Possibly a projection from Annie? Another possibility is someone from Jeanne's past. Maybe the dissenting artilleryman? Is he an ancestor??
Is the 'something' Jeanne's rage ghost half?
At least Jeanne and George are now on a first name basis.

If not, that looks like a Nobody (from Zimmy's illusions). But Zimmy isn't involved here, and I thought that Blue had more control than her... Zimmy and that blue one's powers share a distinct similarity: they use their imagination to etherically recreate the world around them; Zimmy's powers just do this on a more literal scale than the blue one's. The Nobodies are without a doubt something entirely Zimmy's, but in a similar situation (losing control) with similar powers (recreating the world/one's perception of it) it totally makes sense for a faceless person with a similar concept to the Nobodies to appear. This particular instance may even share more similarities with the Nobodies than the blue one's powers might usually share. The Nobodies are people from Zimmy's memories and, considering her emotional distress and etheric duress, Jeanne's memories may be slipping into the illusion. I don't think the man in the last panel is Anthony--it seems too far out of left field, even for GKC--but what if it's someone from Jeanne's past? He has more color than the all-gray background extras from earlier in the chapter so it seems likely that he's going to have more impact on the illusion than them. I keep thinking about what name Annie is intending to give to that jabroni and have a feeling that Annie might give her a common name like Sophia or Lauren or something even though everyone else (both in-universe and us GKC fans) is totally expecting her to name that bozo Blue. Leading to a panel much like panel 5 of this comic. "Annie. C'mon." -- literally everyone AND THIS POST ALSO GOT ME THINKING. It would be SO COOL if we meet Zimmy's parents (or other important figure(s) from her past) as Nobodies.

What kind of DEVIL ex machina Blue is?! Is there limit to her power? I am scared! Do Court know about her?! (Maybe she is Omega Device? (I don't really think so)) that looks like a Nobody (from Zimmy's illusions). But Zimmy isn't involved here, and I thought that Blue had more control than her... I'm sure that this is just part part of Blue's background and it show, that Jeanne is still a bit seeing though it.

Ey! Bad scenario: * By "something", Jeanne is really referring to Blue. * Blue knows it. * Jeanne will call/name somehow this "something". * Blue (now with actual name) will departure, leaving everybody else to die.

It makes me feel sad that while everyone is (for her benefit, I know) deceiving Jeanne , she's trying to protect Parley.

I'm pretty sure "it" is just one of the faceless extras Blue has been adding, that Annie hoped Jeanne wouldn't notice.

I guess I will be the one who has to ask... Is this page out of order? Should it have followed page 18? Uh.... - Panel 1: Red uselessly tells the blue one to try harder
- Panel 2: That other Foley student responds; Jeanne freaking out in the background and Parley not knowing what to do
- Panel 3: Jeanne, wildly looking to find what has alarmed her, warns her "friend" to be careful because something is out there
- Panel 4: Parley tries to calm Jeanne by reassuring her that there's nothing wrong because Jeanne is actually a decades old hate ghost currently losing her mind trying to break free of what's-her-face's illusion
- Panel 5: Jeanne responds with "No I will not calm down this is a very dangerous situation" as some dude shows up. Said guy catches her attention and she begins to spin around.

I can see it: Jeanne spares the meddling kids' lives one last time before she's exorcised for good; Annie names that one ex-fairy after Jeanne in gratitude. It can be very classy if done right.

Tom confirmed that today's page is where it should be. Looks like there's hope for the illusion yet. And why wouldn't it. What we have seen on Friday mostly went on in her head from my point of view. Her raging alter ego feels the presence of Red, Blue and Smitty on the shoreline but her etherical personality is still calmed down by the illusion. The result is a huge conflict in her mind. I still am in awe how good Blue really is. She nearly can prevent Jeanne's raging ego from coming through. She still is fully convinced that George is her best friend and the world she is seeing is the real one. All that swept up into the illusion is the statement, that something is here. She probably can't grab it yet which might be the perfect chance for Blue to introduce some kind of decoy character to focus Jeanne's rage onto. This is why I tink, Smitty will have his first peek into the ether helping the gang out there.

I know the color is a bit off, but I think the person she's sensing is indeed Annie, she just is imagining a man because she doesn't know who it is, and Annie (in the form of hair color) is bleeding through the illusion.
I'm so curious to know what's going on with Annie, though - did she manage to grab the arrow without incident? Part of me is worried she will likewise be trapped by it, or her ether self will.

Wildspeccity: The arrow pins/tangles etheric connections (or "threads"), so when Annie engages with it, she automatically involves (on some etheric level) the person to which she has the strongest personal connection, and Jeanne (who is also in the tangle) can sense both end points.

Wild theory: the figure is actually the shade of one of the people who condemned her. Maybe Steadman with a slightly different haircut.

To me, the figure overall looks male. And is wearing a dress shirt buttoned at the collar (possibly a bow tie). I don't think it's Annie, who when last seen was wearing a moderately-low-necked shirt and unbuttoned jacket. (Although the hair color could be from Annie, among other possibilities).
And Andrew is wearing a hoodie. Of course, that wouldn't be fitting in the setting that Blue has created, so she could be dressing him up if he is leaking through.
But I think it's most likely something/someone else, and NOT Jeanne's boyfriend.

Well… Anthony did have some sort of secret matters to attend, and his history with Etheric stuff isn't particularly good… He could as well find the worst time possible to outsmart himself one more time and blunder into something dangerous. But if that's indeed him, most likely he is in some form here thanks to the two circumstances: 1) The arrow touches Annie, and 2) Anthony is obsessed with Annie, in his own messed up way.

Personally, I think the "mystery man" is Tony, but obviously not the real one. After all, we know that Jeanne's anger & hate "was forged, white hot, into the sentinel of these waters." I'm starting to think that the arrow (which was intended to have an effect on Jeanne, given that she was the Court's "sacrifice"), was meant to sap all of her feelings of anger & hate from the murder of her love & trap it forever. If true, it's reasonable to assume that the device may need to "charge" or "fuel" this emotion, so to speak, so that it never dissipates - likely by conjuring images in what remains of her mind of the things & events that she despises so much. I think the arrow may be either trying to sap Annie's anger & hate now that she's touched it, and using the image of Tony to fuel Annie's emotions (given all this time we've recently spent on all of that), or mistaking Annie's anger toward Tony as a piece of fuel it could use for Jeanne - basically, getting the two confused with each other. Just a theory! Also, hi! Long time no see.
