Alright new plan. We have Parley jump Jeanne out of the ravine. This will help because of reasons.

Anyone else wondering what Parley looks like in the Ether, regarding her abilities? I'd love to see what the teleportation looks like, not to mention the jumping.

"The feeling of disorientation will soon pass, would you like a cup of tea? All right, then, George Parley, is it? Parley, that's lovely then. After your session in the rapidomyoplast later this morning, we'll show you the etheric interface that allows you to edit your charact... I mean, your etheric abilities."

Note the boots with etheric thrusters for soft landings.
(Oh! Was that one of the trade secrets?)

George Parley is that woman. Better than she was before. Better...stronger...faster.
So. Enough to meet Jeanne?

1. Jumps good!
2. Physical strength will not help when dealing with a ghost. Jumping might be useful, but why jump instead of BIP?

Huh, her outfit almost seems like a nod to the design of Eglamore from way back in the day, specifically from 'Of New and Old'.

Sorry Parley. Bipping is far cooler than jumping. Though... If that's Jump Boost and Feather Fall, what Sharpness is Coyote's Tooth. Sharpness M?

Parley has unlocked all manner of personal achievement here. She's buff, she's strong, she knows how to jump tall buildings in a single bound.
She does indeed look incredible.
But for my taste, not all that feminine. I swear, she's dropped a bust size or two, and her hips have narrowed.
And you know what? I think she likes that. I said a couple of threads ago, and I'll say it again: I think Parley's Dad knew what he was doing when he predicted his daughter was a boy.
Smitty has himself a boyfriend now. If he's happy, good. But if, after adjusting, he decides she's not the girl for him...is that OK? Are boys at the Court allowed to decide that they're not all that attracted to a (former) girl?
She's only going to get more and more muscular. Her shoulders will broaden. She may continue to get taller. Her breasts will shrink to not much more than pads over her pecs. If she is like most girls who undergo intense athletic training, she may well stop menstruating, so she's unlikely to ever get pregnant, if she ever wanted to.
Does Smitty want children? I think he's out of luck.
I hope things go well for these two. I do.
But it would be interesting from a story standpoint if Parley had to choose between Smitty and a career. She'd go for the career, I'm sure--it's what she was born for--but how Smitty would react, I don't know. I'd hope he let her go, and find someone else.

For one thing, you're forgetting to account for Smitty's abilities. The stars might all align in just the right way for them, when they're old enough for that decision. As for the idea of Parley being a man... It's possible, but being less typically feminine doesn't mean she identifies as a man. It's only a theory so far. Parley so far has also shown behaviour that's often attributed to Western feminine ideals, and here she's dressed in very practical clothing for the training she was doing. Breasts will shrink because of intense athleticism, but they might not disappear entirely. Her hips won't narrow unless she loses fat from them, but the curvature of her figure might change based on gaining muscle in other areas. Besides, Smitty seems to think she looks great, and she seems pretty proud of it so far. There's no reason to suspect that Smit would dislike the changes.

A woman who is not traditionally feminine in every conceivable way is still a woman unless she doesn't identify as such. Parley has shown no signs as identifying as male. Honestly it's sexist that you feel you can decide someone's not a girl because she's athletic. But if, after adjusting, he decides she's not the girl for him...is that OK? Are boys at the Court allowed to decide that they're not all that attracted to a (former) girl? The hell? She's only going to get more and more muscular. Her shoulders will broaden. She may continue to get taller. Her breasts will shrink to not much more than pads over her pecs. If she is like most girls who undergo intense athletic training, she may well stop menstruating, so she's unlikely to ever get pregnant, if she ever wanted to. .....You know a woman doesn't automatically stop menstruating when she becomes physically active, right? That's something that happens if something is wrong, like if you have anorexia, or you're working yourself to death. Hell, check out Audra Mcdonald at the Tonys, who was tap dancing her ass off while visibly pregnant. Birth control is the more likely preventative. Does Smitty want children? I think he's out of luck. For one thing, it could be Parley doesn't want children anyway. For another, they're both still kids themselves. Having kids is a long way off. For another, like I said, being athletic is not by itself going to stop anybody from having kids. For another, luck is Smitty's thing. For yet another, what the fuck?
