I have heart eyes over here. I'm sure Smitty is about to get his heart eyes on too.

It's... it's... Tom's excuse to draw beautiful buff chicks! No, seriously, that is actually better than the way women superheroes are depicted in most superhero comics. It's also adorable that she's self-conscious.

She looks healthy and very substantial, as in, there, focused. I like her look and the changes the trip with Jim made. Then again I am not a young male teenager.

Not only to build up muscle mass, but also for her to keep her humanity - as in modesty, self conciousness, etc. - in place . Yes, she probably could kill him with one of her huge and massive hands. But let's remember, she is doing all this, to protect him from anything hostile and it looks like, she is going to be ready for her job, pretty soon.

Ah, so this is about whether muscular women are attractive, gender roles etc.
My five cents: having the muscles that come naturally from work / exercise / strength is attractive. Having the kind of muscles for a body building championship, on the other hand, I just don't know what people see in that. Gender irrelevant in both cases. Your mileage may vary.
Smitty's characterisation so far would suggest that he'd be fine with having a partner more muscular than himself. He seems very mellow about everything, and if he didn't mind having a taller partner...

Parley looks great but she probably needs a good hot meal and some sleep.

Parley's face in the last panel looks very manga.
Well, I'm sure Smitty is ok with all this ("Smitty is totally ok with this situation") but then again I really hope for him to balance Parley's awesomeness with some of his own, and soon. Even he could start feeling a bit of an inferiority complex.

I suspect Smitty is wondering if he's going to die next time they have sex. Actually, as I recall, it could be heavy-on-one's-mind experience already. Extra muscle mass won't be much of a problem in perspective. Also I don't think Tom would be exploring the topic any time soon. Also:

And it's now we discover Andrew's preoccupation with Masters of the Universe. Andrew: "Can... can you yell 'By the power of Greyskull' and call me Skeletor?" Insert bone joke here.

The court doctors are robots, right? At least Smitface can take solace in the fact that they probably won't ask too many questions about his crushed skull and/or pelvis.

No, seriously, that is actually better than the way women superheroes are depicted in most superhero comics. It's also adorable that she's self-conscious. Eh. That's mostly Vallejo wannabes, rarely any good at this. Which is ironic, since in the classic Microcephalic Adventures lame fanservice is half of the point.

Andrew's gotta be smitten. Who wouldn't be? Some people find it odd. Before you even apply things like sub-dom, the idea of a female partner being stronger than the male in a physical sense is unconventional. It has sorta been established that conventions hold less sway within the Court, but it is a thing. One of the reasons women are either encouraged or coerced into avoiding contact sports or those that require physical strength. Even football/soccer. Unless it's fun to watch because they're in bikinis/playing in jello, etc. I've seen and heard plenty of comments to the effect of 'I like sport/exercise, but if I do it too much nobody will find me attractive anymore'. Even that aside, people have kinks. I suspect that Smitty Is Okay With This, but it is a mystery. Might take a while for him to decide. Given what she's been tasked with becoming, this just the beginning. So he may want to explore this sooner rather than later. Got a few more gains to make before she gets on Jimmy Jims's level...

Before you even apply things like sub-dom, the idea of a female partner being stronger than the male in a physical sense is unconventional. It has sorta been established that conventions hold less sway within the Court, but it is a thing.[..] In my perspective, Tom has shown on quite a lot of occasions that the general problems we might see in breaking these conventions are not existant in the comic. The relationship of Kat and Paz? Looking through the archive of this forum, this was quite a big topic. However, in the comic, nobody sees any kind of problem. Even Annie did not have an issue because of a same-gender-aspect of this relationship, but because she was afraid, she wouldn't see Kat anymore. The Relationship of Robot and Shadow? Same thing. Even the court doesn't see an issue here that they seem to get closer and closer even though, both would identify as male. Their issue is with Shadow being ... well, Shadow and from the forest and unregistered. The relationship of Jones and Eglamore? Hardly an issue, even though she is a supernatural being. Nobody worries at all, as it seems. Donald and Anja? The worries, Anja went through because she was afraid, Donald would be afraid of her, once he realized her connection to the ether. Without any reason. He thought, this was awesome when Anja put up the shield to protect them. He loved and loves her not because of her abilities, but because of how they connect together. Same for Andrew and George. From my point of view, Andrew will very likely not have an issue with her looks. Why would he? As he has said before, he thought she was 'hot' because of the way, she was teasing him which for me shows, he is more interested in her mind, her behaviour, her affection for him than how she looks or what kind of gender her name implies. And this might take a little time to figure out. Has she changed inside because of the change of her appearance. I don't think so for now. She is still very much in love with him. She is modest, nearly shy while she shows him how she changed on the outside. But I think, she still is very much the same Parley with the same quirks, emotions, affections and believes as before. As I wrote before: Her going through all this training and taking on all this responsibilty is such a strong signal that she wants to protect him. She is doing this for him. And the way, Smitty has behaved so far, he will either get it right away - as in tomorrow morning - or with just a little nudge in the right direction from someone. But he will get it and - if he isn't already - it's going to be just fine and awesome because I also think, Parleys appearance kind of fits her personality well.

Got a few more gains to make before she gets on Jimmy Jims's level... That's true, Eggers at her age wasn't as hulked out either, although we don't know if he was training at that point already.
