If Annie were to try looking again now, would she still be able to see them? Might it need a specific exact frame of mind, or is it just tied to the individual's ability and general method? Or if the half-mended soul split has anything to do with it? So, in the context of "someone's affect on [the Ether]", describing the way someone affects the Ether, then "affect" is incorrect. |

We seem to have confirmation that what Annie is beginning to see is still etheric even though no one else was able to see the same thing. I guess quarantining her elemental nature and losing her blinker stone forced Annie to reconnect with both her elemental nature and the ether in a different manner. Now she has a new perspective. I really want Annie to take a good long look at Kat with her new etheric perspective. Annie never saw anything etheric about Kat before, but Annie's new perspective might reveal something new to Annie. |

<snuffle> is very knowledgeable. I wonder, what her age may be? In fact, I guess I should wonder what all the Forest denizens' ages are. Even Bunny Boy may not have aged like a "normal" rabbit.
I wonder, will the Scooby Gang start experimenting with Andrew's ability? Would having more control over the "strings" give him more control over his ability? What would happen if they cut a thread? How would a knot act?
Oh so curious.

Sure, but why are there different ways to look at the ether? Why does Annie currently see it differently - is it her split nature, or just something about her inherently? Is this new, or could she have seen these strings on Smitty before? Is that why she sees colors on Jack? What does it mean for a power to be partly visible in the ether? Does it make it a different kind of power than the "normal" etheric powers? Do Jones or Kat look different in the ether from the "right perspective"? Et cetera. |
