At least with Smitty there we have the best chances for a good outcome.

At least with Smitty there we have the best chances for a good outcome. Which is no guarantee that the way to it is not a little fraught.

She has a point. That hall didn't have streamers or anything. Let's hope the presentation doesn't involve Boxbot.
Makes me wonder, if she looked at the place ethericly after a beat, and found the hall's first appeal hollow. If she's seeing the sterile Court's greyness, it might seem a little crummy, compared to the eye-popping forest.

Aww, I like the reference of Parley being away before. Much like Eglamore was "back in the day" for training.

If "they" are Foleys, maybe much the same as what they gave to Annie. But prepared rather than improvised.

"Kinda crummy", <Snuffles> is certainly more courteous than Red.
In addition to two bismuth symbols, there are other symbols in panel 2. The one on the right is the lead / Court Protector symbol. I can't make out the next one on the right. I think I've seen the center left symbol before but I don't know what it is. And last but not least, we have a "113" on the left.

But seriously Parley should be there keeping and eye on things. <snuffle> may be small but no fairy is harmless. Not only is the place kind of crummy but down where <snuffle> landed the floor is dirty. They could have at least swept the floor.

Calling it now: Parley's going to show up with her own Rogat Orjak.

The forest creatures seem to always have been pretty upbeat and good-natured (for the most part anyway) but I can't help wondering if there's gonna be some jealousy here. After all, previous creatures wanting to come to the court had to give up literally EVERYTHING, and now [Snuffle] is just walking through the front door.

Eh, but she's walking through the door as a guest, not as an immigrant. While giving everything up to immigrate into the Court isn't how things should be either, they're not the same. The ones who immigrated wanted to live in the Court, not visit friends there temporarily.

When you leave the court, your body is transformed. When you leave the forest, your body is destroyed and recreated. Does it mean, you could be immortal if done right?

It'd depend on if there's any energy loss where energy is pulled from the soul/lifespan of the being, or if there's any micro/macro damages done to the soul/spirit during the transitions. If Tom wanted to limit that, he could easily say that transforming forms too many times could fray the DNA at a faster rate than normal or something, or say that the cost of the spirit being pulled out of a being and put into a new body is taken from the lifespan of said being.

Does it mean, you could be immortal if done right? could it be possible to exist in perpetuity by entering the forest in old age, then returning to the Court in a new, youthful body, returning again once that body begins to die, etc. ? or does "the test" not work like that? (I just read all the forest/court questions for a completely different reason.)

What happens when someone decides to move twice or more times? When you leave the court, your body is transformed. When you leave the forest, your body is destroyed and recreated. Does it mean, you could be immortal if done right? Speaking with absolutely no canon to back me up, I always assumed that you were given a body of the same relative age after taking the test (to avoid exactly this issue). For example, if humans live an average of 90 years and magical birds live an average of 50 years, a 45-year-old human would become a 25-year-old bird and vice versa. There has been no evidence that any known etheric power can reverse aging (even by such a convoluted method as this), and that's the sort of thing I would have expected to be brought up - immortality is kind of a big deal.

I guess, this would be possible for the transfer from the Court to the Forest as we have seen it happening, before. I guess, it is hard to tell, how old Red and her friend were when they decided to leave the Forest. Also, Rabbit did look like - well mostly like - an ordinary grown up Rabbit, but he was turned into a pupil, too. But if that were true, Bugsy must have been with the court for quite some time.
