Prepare for Annie/Kat shippers going crazy.
Even though that's clearly not what she means, and she's just thankful for Kat's friendship. And at risk of repeating myself, I'm glad Annie is putting herself back together again.

We got a title drop, we got walking off into the sunset, we got 30+ pages, but still no end-of-chapter symbol. What else is up? Edit: 437Edit2: double pre-edit ninja?

They look like Humphrey Bogart and Claude Rains at the end of Casablanca.

Looking back at this page, I still wonder, what kind of accent Annie's mother had. Oh, and how Anja's hair-thingy did end up in Annie's hair in page 435. But there might be a better place to speculate about it.
So, what might still left to see? Well, I would think either some reveal, they were observed yet again by the court. Or that Annie is in fact getting herself together more and more. Some kind of mirror to the start of the chapter maybe.

In my mind, "ha" generally means amusement... not agreement. I'm guessing the "spidey-sense" lines mean surprise/impact of Antimony's logue in that last panel. The shorter the bark of laughter, the less likely it is to signify agreement/capitulation with another's wishes. So I'll wildly speculate that this is just strike one for cupid.

Well, I was going to ask if Tom forgot the end of the chapter symbol, since that fade out looked like it would be an end of a chapter, but if he made an internal homage/callback then that makes sense.

I dunno how much (if any) that you can read into that. For instance, I use "Ha!" as "Yes, you're right, and I'm kinda poking fun at myself by laughing at me."

Annie looks like she enjoyed the night despite the awkward stuff happening to her, which is good, but perhaps not normal...

Surma and Anja were best friends and Surma ended up breaking both their hearts when Surma cut off all contact. Hopefully Annie and Kat won't repeat that part of their mother's lives. EDIT: I just realized why this page makes me feel so melancholy. It reminds me of the end of the video game Journey.

Actually that page p 437 down the bottom states that Surma's mum had a Yorkshire accent. Annie's is just a milder version of that. gunnerkrigg.proboards.com/thread/40/feels-answering?page=2&scrollTo=3272

This looks like a transition to an ominous end-of-chapter reveal. Also, Annie's face in panel 4 is weirding me out.

Annie face is nearly expressionless, and she isn't looking directly at Kat, and she kinda has this vague look in her eye like she is a very young child. It's creepy. maybe I just prefer her with her makeup eh

You know, I'll be the first to admit that trying to set Annie up at the moment probably wasn't the wisest move from someone normally as level headed and intuitive as she typically is. All that aside though, I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Everyone could use a friend like Kat. There aren't a lot of people that will go as far for their friends as she will, and I think that's part of what has made her endure as my one of my absolute favorite characters in this comic.

More Annie, more robots? Headmaster Goes To The Beach and Drowns? Clowns.

I think the expression in p4 is just how it's drawn (ie inadvertently creepy to some) rather than intentional creepypasta. (FYI I didn't find it creepy, or even notice until it was pointed out)

(FYI I didn't find it creepy, or even notice until it was pointed out) Same here. That just seems to be a look like in some movies, when a character is talking and looking up with head bent just a little, as in "I'm in my thoughts right now, hold on, hmmm..." Don't know how to explain it better. Sorry.
