Unfortunately, Kat had already put down money for the wedding hall. She's a little over eager to get Annie out of that white room..

I think this is the first time we've seen Annie legitimately happy in a while - so I'm glad that this chapter seems to have restored some of her emotional balance.

Enter Jack, stage left, pursued by Jenny.

I'm slightly disappointed that Annie didn't pull Kat's leg for this surprise... just a little. Enter Jack, stage left, pursued by Jenny. Those two? What would be the chance that they were present and this wouldn't be very noticeable? Also, we don't know exactly how ether-aware Jenny is (and whether she forgets to look around like Annie) and we didn't see her after Annie got the new haircut.

So, it occurs to me after viewing this comic that it would actually be perfectly normal for the rest of the kids not to immediately ask Annie how it went (because it is kinda rude to pry), which answers that question which I saw floating around last comic.

Kat was really hoping for double dates with Winsbury. Now she'll have to set him up with some other unlikely friend, maybe Janet.
