I feel like a clairvoyant tortoise that arrived just in time to witness the trainwreck I came to warn people about, and now I'm too slow to look away. Is this an early page posted again or something? Feels kinda like being dropped into the middle of a conversation. And Annie was holding a ball last page, where did it go? I feel reasonable, it is in the middle of the convo, but from the wording I can buy there being a change from Annie's last throw to a while later in an in progress discussion. |

So the gang's in on the plan. And is helping. But do they know about Janet and Winsbury? Is this a plan to provide cover for Winsbury and Janet to continue to date secretly (probably)? Or was it simply decided that since Winsbury was incredibly "single" he and Antimony would fit? Or is he actually interested in Antimony either romantically or to pay make Janet jealous/pay back Janet for some slight? ...come back next month to find out.  Janet and Renard are conspiring in another corner Being not in on and not 100% on board with The Plan, respectively... Possibly. But I suspect they're fuming separately. |

Or a complete "Flame-Off" and a blank stare (perhaps accompanied by the visual of a match being blown out). She's definitely going to be caught off guard. I wish we knew what was going on with Will/Janet. "Annie I wanted to ask you......I'm in love with Zimmy and I need advice-" That would be the funniest thing ever. I'm imagining Will and Jack wrestling for Zimmy affection, with Annie refereeing and Rey occasionally throwing in folding chairs. |

Yeah Winsbury doesn't seem terribly into this. He's either going to half-heartedly attempt to come on, or he's just going to give up and be frank about the whole ordeal.
This still all seems to be a very strange decision on the part of Annie's friends. I'll withhold full judgment for the end of the chapter though.
