Matching drapes. who is the thumbnail guy, a psychocomp? Probably Renard. And by that I mean Eglamore.

who is the thumbnail guy, a psychocomp? Renard? And boy does he look happy. Could be. The last time we saw one of his eyes look roughly like that, he was taking a bite out of Hetty.

Should be interesting to see just how much she's gone back to old-self-ness since getting fixed up in the forest.
In Breakout, she still didn't have the necklaces or makeup, but we don't quite know the timeline for that. Could have been the next day for all we know. Might be safe to assume that at this point a fair amount of time has passed since, though?

zimmyzims! You're back! And re:Title - Finally, someone says it to Annie? She was already told. It will be the hair that she gets together. Which means that Annie and the fire-head girl get back together.

who is the thumbnail guy, a psychocomp? I had hoped my first post after lurking for ages would be something else than asking a stupid question, but, hey. Can't be helped. So, stupid question: What "thumbnail guy"? I can't see anything on the page except for the chapter title and the hair.

Aurora Hairealis: it goes up.
The owner of that eye* looks... displeased.
* Most likely Rey, contemplating a change of body. I did initially suspect a tic-toc, due to the markings.

When I first saw the thumbnail I thought of a bird face (not a City Face face), but then I saw the posts here (by imaginaryfriend and Gotolei) pointing to Renard and yes, that makes more sense, actually. We'll see, anyway. Now I'm wondering, if it's indeed Renard, will he get so angry while keeping puppy-Renard form? That would be disturbingly cute, but I'm afraid it's unlikely.

Judging by the thumbnail pic, getting Annie together will not be done peacefully and undisturbed. I am pleased. Is it time to cry 'Havoc!', then, and let slip the fox of war?

The hair looks like a stage curtain unopened.

Can Renard possses something with optical sensors like a Tic Toc? He can possess a toy with plastic bits for eyes, but those were meant to be eyes by the toy's creator and are accepted as eyes by the toy's owner. Is an optical sensor meant to be an eye or just another data input?

I predict, instead of Annie's hair magically regrowing, we'll see Annie with half her hair on fire forever.

Re: It goes up!
Do the cut ends float away? Could they pose a hazard to navigation by clogging the intakes on jet engines?

The hair looks like a stage curtain unopened. a curtain opening on a new (re-joined?) Annie, perhaps?

Come to think of it, have Annie and Rey talked since she took him back from Anthony?

This is what you get for repeatedly making this joke. Party poopers from Foley, phuh. gkc am I fucking twelve.png (363.03 KB) I don't think this actually ever happened to me as a boy. Or happened to everybody much. Many guys definitely fear it though, I sure did. "What if I get a raging boner in front of her, everyone would surely see!"

After all, the eye might be responsible for "seeing" things, but it's the brain that processes that information into a recognizable form.

Aurora Hairealis: it goes up. It goes up again! But also, we don't know where Annie put her cut hair earlier. And what will she do with it now. And what she can do with it. Imagine this picture showing on all cameras in the Annie Hangar. And then across the door.
