Looks like Paz is helping around the lab now.
And cult implications aside, that's pretty dang cool for a first attempt.

Gonna edit that post number with each post, Daedalus?
New robo-limb! This should be interesting. Wonder what Robot will make of this to his cult.

I think we're all missing the most important development in this page:

CUTE HAIR ALERT!
This is not a drill, repeat, not a drill. This is a Level 5 Cute Hair Alert.
Paz, whose haircut has already previously noted to be in a high state of adorability, has been sighted in Kat's laboratory with the addition of two small forward flips to her otherwise quite sensible hairdo. Be warned: DO NOT look directly at the Paz. DO NOT approach the Paz closer than a 1.5 meter radius. DO complement the Paz on her new hair styling. YOUR LIFE AND SANITY MAY DEPEND ON FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
This Cute Hair Alert will be in effect until further notice! May our great Lord Coyote have mercy upon us all.

I think I prefer Kat/Robots chapters to Annie chapters. Consider me hyped. Interesting that the arm itself looks still techy, with just the shoulder being fully fleshy/organic.
edit: Hey, I mad it through nearly the whole year wearing the hat. Soon it'll be in season again and I wont need to apologize for it anymore, yay.

I think I prefer Kat/Robots chapters to Annie chapters. Consider me hyped. That's because they're longer. Interesting that the arm itself looks still techy, with just the shoulder being fully fleshy/organic. Looks like the fleshy parts of the bluer hue connect with their similar coloured patches on the inside of the arm, and the reddish hue is harder casing / structural support. Perhaps.

Wildspec implications time:
1. Annie is apparently stable enough for the plot to move on 2. Kat (and Paz) seem perfectly fine and not-worried here
Would be kind of a bummer if all the fallout from the past five-something chapters was just magically resolved off-panel, but things do seem to have settled in some form of not-unpleasant status quo.

Maybe not, but plot advances anyway for even higher tension and suspense! 2. This might just demonstrate how ...detached(?) Kat and Annie currently have become.

True, the Carver Family's Wild Ride has been running nonstop since March. Guessing there's a thing or two that can be pulled out of Breakout's length, though. 2. Or maybe Kat's just in her element and distracted, and/or this is how she copes and Paz just goes along with it?

Weird. Hard to say with that thing deactivated though.

Remind me, was it not established previously that the Court's robots act in collusion with one another? After the Torn Sea debacle, you'd think Kat would be smarter than to just blithely walking right into Robot's plans like that.

"The robots aren't normally networked like this"Pretty sure she wouldn't be working with Robot S13 if she was aware that he's a mastermind zealot figure either. E: unless you mean the Robot King, but he's pretty much confirmed as a good guy.

Soooo Mad Scientist and Beautiful Assistant. Exactly the image that came to my mind. As much as I love seeing Kat's side of things again, though, I hope that she'll cross over with Annie's storyline sooner rather than later. There's so much still left open over there...

After the Torn Sea debacle, you'd think Kat would be smarter than to just blithely walking right into Robot's plans like that. She trusts Robot, not least because he was the one to be a Big Damn Hero and save her from the robot menace. She didn't see the scene at the end of that chapter where it was all revealed to be S13's sinister master plan... Interesting that the arm itself looks still techy, with just the shoulder being fully fleshy/organic. Reminds me of Kimiko Ross's exode arm, actually (bottom of page). I'm still awaiting a crossover between DK, GG, and GKC... Speaking of Dresden Codak, I'm really excited by the revelations in this most recent page!

This just shows us that life and time is moving forward for everyone. While Annie was sorting out her relationships everyone was living their lives. Good to see Kat, Paz and S13.

Hard to say with that thing deactivated though. Looks to me like this is drawn like a 'bash that's just been put together for a test. Support Cable #1 from the left in panel 1 (#1 from the right in panel 3) goes into Robot's back, not the prototype, so I'm not sure he's even mobile right now. The arm was assembled as a unit which is why it looks more "together" and the myomer or organic fibers that connect it to the chassis have temporary support (physical and technical) across the chest; they would normally be covered by a chest-plate/carapace/whatever. Speaking of Dresden Codak, I'm really excited by the revelations in this most recent page! I'm excited someone else posted to the DC PM thread!
