Never thought I would be happy to see that cut on her cheek.

I really wish the pace would pick up a little I understand that this is to set the mood and all and that we need to see each scene, so we understand the flow. but the suspense is killing me.

The rereading will be wonderful when we get around to it. when I am doing large explanations of plot or analysis I frequently re-read large portions of the story I always find new little details I seem to have missed since last read. ----- I'm really worried splitting her soul in two like this is going to cause lasting harm, she really hasn't thought this through enough.

Oh Annie, you can cut her out but you can't keep her away.
In all likelihood, getting across the room to sit down at her bed took up that ten minutes anyway.

Setup comic is setup.
Not so much a Friday cliffhanger as a Friday looking at the edge of the cliff from 30 meters away.

So apparently the blinker stone was only inside Anniemental so they could communicate when Plain Annie is away.

The elemental becomes a flying spark. I hope that spark is not a Boojum.
My, my those last four panels are atmospheric. The one of Donald is so evocative. Stunning page to end the week on. If Reynard is in the same room as Donald and Anthony he could get an eyeful.

Elemental Annie is still pinned to the stone, the rest got paler. Annie didn't give him ten minutes. No surprises here. Donny's tattoo is not glowing through clothes. While not active?

AH YEAH ! Excellent ! I'm happy ! Both Annies can go to the ether, the elemental part and the "act-like-father" part ! I'm glad of that ! Now let's see what happens next and worry...

I am relieved to see that Annie's halves didn't get unintentionally separated by Don borrowing the stone.
Unfortunately, the suspense can only be relieved by limiting your reading to one chapter at a time, ~ten weeks apart. It's just what happens when rate of consumption exceeds the rate of production.

Watch Monday be the day it is revealed that TONY is the fire-elemental parent, not Surma as everyone seems to think. I mean, it only makes sense: Elemental want to know more about the world, gets human body to attend the Court, is awkward in every human fashion and sees only opportunity to work and learn. perhaps this is why his own lost hand doesn't bother him, the body to him is not really his body, it is a temporary thing that will go away after a while...
...Just a thought.

Is it dark like that because her hair chopping weakened her connection to the ether? I am kind of surprised she's able to get there at all. I'm interested to know more about the mechanics of all that.

I don't like it I don't like it I don't like it
Fire Annie is looking through too and she is severely not going to like what she hears, plus we can see she can touch the blinker stone easily
Annie first used the blinker stone to touch the ether, something she couldn't (easily) do under her own power. We just saw a few pages ago that Fire Annie can't touch the real world. But we can see she can manipulate the stone
I don't like it!!!!!

I still can't get over all the purple furniture. But if Anthony figures out Donny's plan he won't explain anything or just give plausible lies.

The darkness of the ether in today's page is very evocative of the fragile state of Annie's mind at the moment.
I find it interesting how the elemental is portrayed today...

The darkness of the ether is, I think, the darkness inside Donlan's pocket.
Glad to see Annie's cut, glad to see she still links to the stone, glad to see she still has her connection to the ether.
Donlan has something specific in mind. He, at least, will not be surprised by what Annie sees. More, I think he's about to show Annie something that he's known since before Annie was conceived.

It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion. No (immediate) good can come of this.

This could be nothing more than a non-technological way of ease-dropping. Though, I'm still looking forward to seeing Tony in the Ether. It should refute a few claims, confirm some, or show something excitingly unexpected. I eagerly await. All we have to do is wait till Monday... two weeks from now.

I love how Tom drew Annie's hair in panels 4, 6, 7. Specifically, it appears that Annie briefly recombined when entering the ether (panels 4&6), then re-separated (6&7). And Body Annie's hair is flowing as if it, too were connected to the blinker. I now think that Annie could put herself back together permanently at any time. This bodes well.

I now think that Annie could put herself back together permanently at any time. This bodes well. I agree. This appears a lot easier to fix than it did initially. Was the haircut even necessary or just symbolic? Well I guess since the flame's hair is also cut there's some necessity in there somewhere. Still don't totally understand the mechanics of what happened.

Pssh, so much for "wait ten minutes" This could be nothing more than a non-technological way of ease-dropping. Yeah, I just assumed Don wanted Annie to be able to look in while they spoke in confidence. Help her (AND US, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD US!) understand what's really going on.

Oo, could we be about to find out about a few things from the past? That would be satisfying after the upheavals of the past few chapters. Go Donald!

Could be Tony blames himself for Surma's death and sees Annie as nothing more than the body into which Surma Passed. Watch... we find out Tony was the elemental that the big bads in the forest mentioned when Annie kicked their rears.
