In uniform, yes, and completely surrounded by fire. There is no clear space around her.
And it doesn't seem to bother her a bit.
Her elemental may be out of its host, for now, but Annie has not lost all of her powers.
Still want to know if she has her stone, and where the walkie talkie is.
Most of all, though, it seems the focus will be Annie for this chapter. Even if we skip away for a bit, Tom will return to Annie.

She looks very poignant, a girl lost in the fire. My first thought at seeing this page was... Perhaps Tom has listened to our pleas somewhat, and is tightening the storytelling so it doesn't leave us hanging but addresses the immediate issues. But it's probably more that this is what the story needs right now.  |

Guys guys, I know I'm just speculating, but I think this chapter will be about Annie. It might also be that there is some kind of fire involved. Maybe even a fire spirit!

OK, just as handing Renard over to Kat was done to protect him from her father the apparent partial separation of of her elemental part from herself is meant to do the same. Which suggests that Annie has mixed feelings towards her father and does not trust him as much as she appeared to.

Yes, I think she is outwardly acquiescing to her father, and appearing to even in front of Kat, but there is definitely something more rebellious going on deeper down. Looking forward to seeing whether this is a flashback to how the separation happened, or continuing in the current timeline to show how it is affecting her. |

This is striking me as ominous. Annie's fire spirit is being contained and/or kept seperate from her, but there's no way in hell she and/or Tony are going to be able to keep a lid on her forever. Which means we might have an explosion to look forward to. And in the picture she's surrounded in flames while wearing a school uniform. That kind of scares me, because it could very well be implying that when the inevitable blow up comes she'll be at school. Surrounded by other students.

Alternatively this title is a red herring and this chapter is actually about the wonders of Boxbot's daily life.

This chapter probably features Renard starting drinking when he discovers nobody takes him seriously anymore due to his new form. Meanwhile, elemental Annie causes a fire that feeds upon all the furniture in her room; the fire soon starves and dies.
Luckily, Tom's imagination is a lot better than mine.
