(That last line delivered in a surly grump that implies a little more needling will winkle it out of him.)
Minor glitch: Don's speech bubble in panel 1 should be coming from the left.

Dayuuum, Donald Donlan doesn't pull any punches. Which I'm endlessly grateful for. I can easily imagine yet more dancing around the issue and trying not to tread on his toes or privacy. He's been suspected of being up to something, he's just admitted being up to something, and now he needs to answer for it all.

'And what did you did to your hand' in the third panel should be 'and what did you do to your hand'. So, it's 100% confirmed now that his hand is gone. What he said about it is interesting, though if he did lose it operating on Annie, it certainly isn't 'of nobody's concern but [his] own'.
Oh God, check out Kat's expression in the first panel.

It seems to me like Annie ,and to a certain extent Kat too, is taking this like an interrogation about the way he has treated her. I think what we're gonna see here is that besides all of that, Donald is worried about his friend - he's known him a lot longer than her, and as far as I can tell he trusts him a lot (perhaps why the Donlans didn't step in when he decided to steamroll Annie's life).

Broken nose, is it? Courtesy of Zimmy, maybe? Well, this conversation isn't over yet. I'm really looking forward to Donnie's next question, I expect it to be an armour-piercing one.

Kat's expression says, "Yes! Go Dad! Get him!" And I love her for that. Kat's always been one of the more expressive and passionate characters in the comic. I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops.

I wasn't expecting answers this week, takes longer than that to get Tony to open up, but I hope we get some inkling as to his actions soon.
the title of the chapter is Sneak, was Tony sneaking around somewhere that we will hear about?

Yeah, I'm almost certain it was what caused his request for the surgical equipment now, rather than the other way around. Just imagine the other end of that phone call, with Anthony calmly and emotionlessly using code words to ask for help and meanwhile his hand sitting there mangled or something. heheh only him. Now to see if Donny keeps pressing! * pointedly uses both hands to eat popcorn*

Damn it, I wanted it to become about Annie immediately so bad. Come on Donny, you don't have to care about the robot's suffering and broken nose/hand. Start laying into him about the daughter he's neglected for years!

This page might be giving up more than we think, depending on how literal hes being in the last panel.
I don't know whether or not he'd refer to personal endeavors as "work".
And I love how Kat's expression in the first panel is all like "dis gon' be good".

Now to see if Donny keeps pressing! * pointedly uses both hands to eat popcorn*My favorite theory right now is that he used the medical equipment Donald and Annie sent to amputate his hand for some kind of powerful spell that he tried to use on Annie. Which could explain why Zimmy saw bones sticking out of Annie. Five, to be exact. And then later this happens. Gee, I wonder where those facial scars and broken nose came from? IT IS A MYSTERY

Start laying into him about the daughter he's neglected for years! It's not about caring for Anthony's suffering, it's about finding out the truth. I've suspected a while ago that all this business about being-so-disappointed and homework-above-all was at least partly a diversion tactic. Well, it looks like Donny agrees with me. Anthony did not come back because of Annie's schoolwork. So WHY is he there? It is obviously the continuation of what he's done the last three years. Donald only knows that he really didn't want to be found and for some reason, needed scalpels. Also, he got hurt. None of this is irrelevant. It's very probably at the heart of what he's inflincting on Annie now.
After all, WE know how he was hurt...
Also... has anyone else wondered what Annie remembers from her "weird dream" from Divine? She did seem to remember some things... and a few pages ago, she couldn't help but stare at his hand.

Come on, Donald! Lay into him! Give him the TKO!!
Donald's determined expression suggests that he's not going to let this go so easily. I too think that seeing to Annie's education was not Anthony's motivation for returning to the Court. Or at least, not his only motivation. Also, just putting this theory out there, but I have the feeling that he would have isolated Annie the way he has even if she hadn't been cheating. That just gave him an excuse to do it. So what is he really up to?
Now I think that all the earlier chapters were just an introduction, and this is where the main story starts.

I'm honestly expecting Tony to just get up and leave with Annie. I don't think so. I believe he isn't even the slightest bit offended, or anything along that line. He just has the social grace of a sledge hammer, and the only way to get an answer out of him is to be equally blunt.

It makes sense that Tony would consider his failed attempt to perform an etheric procedure (the bone lasers) on Annie his "own foolishness". We know Tony doesn't have patience for the etheric. That makes me think of few things...
1. Tony blames himself for the loss of his hand and probably the damage to his face. He isn't blaming Annie or some etheric entity he hasn't identified (Zimmy). This shows that he is capable of taking responsibility for his failures. He has internalized his failure so much that he says it is no one else's concern, even though what ever he was doing to Annie is obviously her concern.
2. If the scientific approach failed on Surma, and Tony's attempt to use an etheric approach failed on Annie, then what alternative approaches are left? Would he try an etheric approach again, or has he concluded that any etheric approach is foolishness?
3. Has Tony given up on saving Annie from her fate? Is he struggling with the possibility that the only thing he can do is sterilize his daughter so the parasitic fire elemental can't claim another generation? Is he considering that just denying the fire elemental another generation may not be not sufficient and he may have to sacrifice Annie to kill the fire elemental?

So, several things: Didn't the Donlans know that Anthony can only use one hand, and if they knew, why would they make something like steak which needs two hands to eat properly? Didn't Kat tell them? No matter who of them cooked, it doesn't seem like something they would do on purpose.
The mystery of Anthony's more detailed features is solved! He's just got a very messed up face.
And I like Donald, here. He doesn't press on issues that might be private, like the source of Anthony's injuries, but he asks the important question. Even if Anthony was undercover for some super-important world-saving mission - there's no harm in informing your daughter that she can't contact you, or that the disappearance has nothing to do with her or her failures, or that she is still loved. Note the choice of words: 'you've been missing'. He still hopes that Anthony didn't go out of his own free will, and that there might be a good explanation, that he didn't just abandon Annie, or all of them. I think he's still angry that he had to make excuses for him - he's the source of most of the information Antimony has on her father. He's always tried to paint Tony in a good, and if impossible, at least neutral light, and tried to help Antimony understand her father. He didn't want to poison the relationship, but seeing what it did to Antimony would hurt any friend, especially one with paternal feelings.

I guess Tony is still completely obsessed with "saving" his daughter while at same time still afraid of something. Last time he used untraceable satellite, this time he is playing pretense of not loving his daughter. But late at night all he does is stare at her homework because that is all he has of her. Gunnerkrigg Court wanted control of Renard and Annie not going into forest before Tony, I guess Tony is afraid of the Court and pretending to please them. Court likely has dark secret parallel to Coyotes as part of their "wanting to be gods" (as coyote describes them) Tony might be secretly proud of his daughter for not losing her temper or betraying Renard.

Look! Emotions! Mild ones, yes, but @#$@ more than he's ever shown Antimony, that's for darn sure! This just kind of reaffirms my distaste for how he treats his daughter. 5 minutes with his best friend and he's showing more emotion than after all that time with his daughter, some of it completely alone? Yeah, that's normal father/daughter behavior... So, several things: Didn't the Donlans know that Anthony can only use one hand, and if they knew, why would they make something like steak which needs two hands to eat properly? Didn't Kat tell them? No matter who of them cooked, it doesn't seem like something they would do on purpose. How on Earth would they know about his hand? No one's known about it until seeing him- and they haven't seen him before now. I guess Kat might've told them, but I imagine that what Kat's been saying about Tony has either been very stinted (ie. "I never met the guy" while thinking "I HATE HIM") or said with such venom that it's hard to tell the truth from the embellishments. Now they're realizing there isn't nearly as much embellishment...

Well, I assumed Kat would have told them, especially since she knew that this was new information. And I think you're spot on with that theory - Donald especially seems to be very angry
