Clearly we need this.

I will say answer #3, but in truth I genuinely have no idea. If Donny really is Anthony's friend he may have more of an effect then we would expect. I doubt Anthony will say everything though.

I figured I'd put in at least one straight answer in there because...well...Anthony seems to be the kind of guy that just might actually give a very direct answer when asked a direct question.

I imagine we'll get a very different response than if Donny had managed to get Tony alone to ask it.

Oh it is most definitely #2. Barring that, it is probably the 1st or 3rd choices, but I'm putting my money on #2.

Awesome poll idea!
I think "I had matters to attend to" is so glaringly obvious as the correct answer that I can't even vote for it. Instead I am going to go for the unthinkable: He actually answers a question honestly and we find out something. And it does have something to do with Annie.
I don't expect him to spill the beans and explain everything, that would be too much. But a hint at least.

Instead I am going to go for the unthinkable: He actually answers a question honestly and we find out something. And it does have something to do with Annie. I see it as a real possibility. Maybe something along the lines of "I was searching for a cure for my daughter". Or, how about, "I was searching for a cure for my daughter and I finally found one and was in the process of etherically removing her affliction using that stuff you stole for me when I was mysteriously punched in the face by someone claiming to be delivering a message on Antimony's behalf, causing me to lose my hand and thus resort to this prosthetic you see before you. And I would have been back sooner but I had to learn to write left-handed." Because with Tony, you never know.

"Waiting to see who had the courage to call out my blatantly rude behaviour. I must say that I am most disappointed in my daughter for being so weak".

He'll probably choose #3. But I don't think Donny is going to let an "I had matters to attend to" response stand. And whatever Donny says in response to that, it's gonna be tough for Tony to remain obtuse afterward.

First panel: beat panel Second panel: "I hand matters to..." Third panel: "Cut the crap Tony. Seriously, where have you been?" Fourth panel: beat panel Fifth panel: big reveal and antimony symbol

I still think that Donny will get a better answer if he gets Tony alone. That's assuming nothing happened to destroy their friendship (beyond, y'know, Tony). He still used their secret code and reached out to him for assistance, so it sounds like he still considers Donny a confidant in some ways.

"Waiting to see who had the courage to call out my blatantly rude behaviour. I must say that I am most disappointed in my daughter for being so weak". Hmm... How about, "After Antimony sucked the last bit of life from my wife, I found looking at her face to be repugnant. I decided to board her here at Court while I took a position at [major hospital in the UK] as chief of surgery, intending to never see her again but was recalled here to correct Antimony's chronic academic dishonesty and discipline problems. Please pass the gravy." [edit] I very nearly started a poll a few days back based on predictions of what conversational WMD Anthony would deploy to completely destroy the dinner party but there are just so many to choose from. Some of my favorites that I haven't posted to the forum one way or other yet are outing Kat in some way that infuriates Kat and also slams Antimony once again (such as, "I am pleased with your daughter's choice of a same-sex romantic partner; I have read studies that predict enhanced socialization and academic performance with such relationships among the intellectually gifted and I have decided that, based on your example, I will restrict Antimony to homosexual relationships until she is eighteen.") and "Here are some photographs of children that I operated on in [conflict zone] where I worked as a volunteer. This girl lost her legs, arm and most of her skin due to an IED. As you can see in this second photograph, reconstructive surgery had limited success. The drainage tubes were not removed for two months. Here is a young boy in the final stage of starvation with a bullet wound to his abdomen" etc., and the old fatherhood classic of getting drunk on table wine and whipping it out. Always a vote grab. Yep, he went the obvious.
I guess the next question is what he'll answer when Donny inevitably doesn't take that answer lying down.

Yep, he went the obvious. I guess the next question is what he'll answer when Donny inevitably doesn't take that answer lying down. Well, strictly speaking, he started with "Is it your concern" and then ended on "I had matters to attend to". So I'm inclined to call both of those winners. And did I detect a hint of the Boxbot answer in there? And here you all thought that was just a joke!
