He's the kind who looks very carefully first and makes his judgment later. I think he's trying to understand what's going on, mainly. He'll probably sit back and be very quiet this time as well. 

I don't think that it would be a good idea to start out by telling him what a jerk of a father he is, anyway. It's pretty obvious that it wouldn't end with Anthony saying: "Oh. You're right, now that you've said it I'll switch my personality and start hugging everyone". Rather he'd leave and not come back again... and Annie with him.

Well, 'open eyes' in her case is a relative term considering the simplicity of her face.

Tony's face is very detailed and that just weirds me out.

He's so formal and vulnerable in that last panel, standing there isolated, all rigid and awkward. It's like he's a little kid admitting that he broke their window while playing baseball.

It's super hard to still be an Anthony apologist now (and honestly, I'm not intended to), but from the beginning of the chapter, when Kat suggested a meeting and he surprisingly easy agreed, I've been thinking about his call in Microsat 5, when he said "strange things" which were a crypted message for Donald. Notice how his answers are very limited and formal, maybe they are a part of a message he tries to deliver to Donald? Notice how he didnt directly calls Anja by her name, and dont interacts with her when she came to greet him in any way, but in the very beginning he says just full name of Donny (much like he started a phone call with "Antimony"). I suggest Anja going there was a "break" in his script, or I see no reason in such a rude behaviour. Otherwise I totally cant understand whats going on, so I may be trying too hard with all this!

Of course it is. The question is whether he is viable to do anything other than in various ways tell everyone he meets - his daughter, his students, his old friends - "I hate you"...or sit silently, staring out a window.

Its definitely possible. We already have precedent.
