A fairy called 'Cat'?(Actually, on second look, I think she's got a Voldemort look going: Ophelia from House Slytherin?)

The deeper we delve into this facility, the more I'm certain what we're about to see will be DEEPLY unsettling.

Calling it now: rows and rows of Kat-prototype-like goop. Now we know where she got her raw materials!

' Batch?' Annie would appear to be emitting IR vibesWell at least snake-guy is trying. Calling it now: rows and rows of Kat-prototype-like goop. Now we know where she got her raw materials! My wild guess: Rows of featureless bodies. The moment the "soul" is released from the totem, the chosen body gets its characteristics. So bunny-boy will probably have a nice set of teeth.

For added creepiness, the process will go wrong, and Annie will feel guilty for killing the rabbit.

Snake-person walked past three regular doors to one highly reinforced door. Annie may also find the final transformation process unsettling.
BTW: Snake-person also seems quite androgynous, much like a snake..

I wonder if the workers here ever play chess with the totems in their downtime. Hope nobody ever flipped the table.
Anywho, I'll throw my vote in with the non-unsettling crowd. This sort of thing always seems like it'll be freaky but turns out to be simple enough. It probably won't be a problem... Probably. Maybe.

I'm not sure Daedalus said the same thing or not, but I call it anyway : that's when we learn that Kat is actually a former forest's animal. But things went wrong and she's not a boy but a girl. And all mechanics inside. Yeah, no, too far-fetched.

Annie: "Not insensitive, but maybe a little cold-blooded." She seems nice. I'm betting, when Annie goes Etheric to view the process, we'll get a good look at Ms. Snake. I'm betting her head cover is a Cobra hood.

Must be Mr Snake, because animals always become boys, but if you didn't know that it could be a lady. Although; surfboard-like chest..

Looks like Nina from Nina from Between Failures... the teeth in particular, but also the expressions, the nose (sorta), the tallness, the ears (though that's really all of Jackie's characters) ... Not quite the figure, though, and not the complexion. :-\

What in hell's name is snake guy's nose supposed to be? The kind with an almost non-existent philtrum or one with an extreme downward point?
On a side note, is snake guy completely bald or does he simply have very short hair? He's got eyebrows, so unless those are fakes he's not hairless.

Which only makes sense, given the situation.

He?! Well, I learned something new today. Edit: and then I learned that I should check to see whether something has been discussed at length before writing a redundant post.

BTW: Snake-person also seems quite androgynous, much like a snake.. Must be Mr Snake, because animals always become boys, but if you didn't know that it could be a lady. Although; surfboard-like chest.. Maybe he is biologically male but identifies herself as female... Tom has certainly thrown more wrenches into the traditional male/female dichotomy by doubling the variables: Previous Kingdom = Animalia Previous Sex (as an animal) = Any Previous Gender Identity (as an animal) = Any Or maybe it is more like Identity = Human? Previous Sexual Orientation (as an animal) = Any Current Sex (as a human) = Male, or the male side of the body type spectrum Current Gender Identity (as a human) = Any Current Sexual Orientation (as a human) = Any Previous Legendary Creature = Faerie Previous Sex (as a fairy) = Female, or the female side of the body type spectrum Or maybe Previous Sex (as a fairy) = Faerie? or None? Previous Gender Identity (as a fairy) = Any Or maybe it is more like Identity = Human? Previous Sexual Orientation (as a fairy) = Any Current Sex (as a human) = Female, or at least the female side of the body type spectrum Current Gender Identity (as a human) = Any Current Sexual Orientation (as a human) = Any

Something about his expressions and body movement made me think female. I do prefer the ladies lithe, but snake-like would be pushing it (maybe). I'm betting he is originally from the forest, so he must be a he... Yet another sentence that makes no sense, anywhere else.

Something about his expressions and body movement made me think female. ... and the hips? Yeah, it's like a guy, but I'm not 100% certain: Not all the odd denizens of the Court fall into the fairy-girl / animal-boy categories. Like Bob's wife, the Dryad. Not a fairy, I'm sure. Or Sivo, or Mort, or Basil ... Or Jones. :-P
