I was also a bit confused by her comment.
Even if the test wasn't part of the medium's duties, this was not what Annie was answering to.
I'm assuming that she's somehow confused that she is NOT the court medium in ANY way, even if she is from the court.

Looks like a regular, boring hospital. If so, Annie will be in her element.  "Coyote made an exception [...]", so the 'Test' is not part of the medium's duties? Delivering the totem after they're finished obviously should be and is. The "test" itself, there's no compelling reason why it would be. Also: Is that a former-fairy person coming to collect the totem? His(?) ears appear pointy due to head angle and bound hair. Not that this wouldn't make sense anyway. |

It sounds like we might be seeing a couple of interesting things soon: 1.) where the bodies of the forestdwellers-to-humans are created and 2.) how the Court handles this primarily etheric business on their end. But yeah, boring exposition page.

I had a three-day weekend, and thought it was Sunday. Maybe, I wasn't the only one. I wonder if there is a selection process. Can we expect a montage of them rolling out different comatose bodies? Andrew and Annie will alternate, going back and forth between quipping disapproval and saying they like it. Finally giving a unified "That's the one!" to an exasperated orderly. |
