SMASHWhat else? I'm speechless. By the way, this seems like a potentially dangerous manoeuvre that may cause some collateral damage To respond my own question, "what else?", of course, shhhhh.... coolant hits the over heated etheric engine. Maybe that's actually the main point of this page. Sorry, my bad.

LINDSAY... SMASH!
Now I imagine her becoming green and even bigger.

JAYSUS, OH MAH LAWD.
That feel when you've been dogpiled by a cruise ship sized psychic-engineer-and-accredited couple's therapist-merostomatozon.

I hope Paz is OK. Also, I think Lindsey understands about Zimmy's condition. I mean, would there be any reason for the court to hide it from her? Besides their tendency to hide everything a person doesn't directly need to know... OK. Still, she's a student. Lindsey should know if there's a reality-warper under her care or under the care of one of her peers.

LINDSAY... SMASH! Now I imagine her becoming green and even bigger. If there is one thing Lindesy does not need to be it is being even bigger! Risky move. But Jack probably knew that and they decided to go with it. As it is, it seems to do the trick.

Y'know Lindsey, even if you're just trying to help, that was just a very poor route to take.

I'm actually suddenly a little concerned.
The rainfall isn't producing an immediate steaming kind of effect, and Zimmy's face is kind of showing something that doesn't look like it's working...At least not instantly. What if the Seraphs did something really drastic and the resulting rain DOESN'T cool her down?

The potentially dangerous manoeuvre is less dangerous than Zimmy withe out the rain? Or that think the planemaker!!!!

If you look close enough, you can still see Paz's feet in the air. Haha wow.

Tom's comment: 'Not what he wanted.' I think the 'what' is the Zimmy circuit-breaking rain. But who is 'he'? Jack? The Ship? Jack referred to it, but it makes more sense that it's the ship. From Lindsay's knowing look ( merastomatozoans are *so* expressive) it's what *she* wanted.

The students had a pretty good plan, then. Kudos. They'd be returned where they came from, and needed to get to the nearest open area, which is conveniently the ball room if they can get Lindsey to open up the roof. At least I'm guessing it worked like that.

Considering this page, I suppose the current situation probably doesn't fit his vision of her truly seeing him. Being within grabbing distance of those claws, which are attached to a presumably none-too-amused Lindsey probably doesn't fit the bill of how he wanted to get closer to her.

Is no-one else worried about Lindsey? It wasn't the most elegant landing, she doesn't look that comfortable, I hope this doesn't backfire and end up severely hurting her.

Y'know Lindsey, even if you're just trying to help, that was just a very poor route to take. Not sure. Her main intention may be to let rain in as fast as possible to cool Zimmy down. It doesn't seem like a bad idea and it's what she is doing anyway.

Well now, I'd expected Lindsey to take a slightly more subtle approach. Like giving Ship a good scolding first. But on the other hand I always knew how this would end... This chapter will end with Lindsey vs. The Cruise Ship
FIGHT!

At least he got to second base (third? I don't get baseball metaphors , or baseball...)
Now to deal with the aftermath. That's going to direct attention towards both the robutt's angel_creator_kat cult and her own experiments with organic robot parts.

I'm guessing there's some etheric tech involved because the Love Boat should've promptly rolled over. Or maybe that will happen next comic. By the way, this seems like a potentially dangerous manoeuvre that may cause some collateral damage Hmm, yeah, those glass panels are probably very heavy unless they're some sort of exotic space-age materials. Fragments might not Hollywood but they wouldn't stay exactly where dropped either. Lucky this is a comic.

Y'know Lindsey, even if you're just trying to help, that was just a very poor route to take. She might be working under the impression that they can take a hit like that. Sometimes people take for granted advantages that they have as if it's something common. Like having a shell. Is no-one else worried about Lindsey? It wasn't the most elegant landing, she doesn't look that comfortable, I hope this doesn't backfire and end up severely hurting her. I bet you couldn't punch through that carapace with anything less than the main gun on a decent sized tank. Maybe an anti-material rifle if you hit a joint(or an eye.)

Hooray, the snowflake background is back again! It's a tradition that brings me immediate smiles; thanks Tom!
It's going to be hard waiting to see why Zimmy's not steaming in the rain, whether everyone else is okay, &c. But I suspect we'll have another scene change on Wednesday showing Robot and Shadow, or perhaps Rey, before we get those answers. :-)
What a monster of a chapter; I love it!

It looks to me as though Zimmy is starting to feel the rain. I don't feel it was necessary to illustrate that any more extensively than the "Shhhhh" and the fizziness over her head. She'll have her lovely red eyes and a big smile on Wednesday. Or maybe a grimly determined angry look, but still the pretty eyes.

They're clawing their way back to victory. Plus, seasonal decor for the win. This has been a really long chapter. I imagine, the next chapter will be dealing with the consequences. "Totally Involving Robots"? Also, no rainbow from Lindsey's sea mist?

TITLE: You get what you pay for
DETAILS: The seafood on this cruise is really fresh and the portions are enormous! But the service is very rude -- I ordered a few extra drinks which I expected would be charged to my room, but instead the waiter stuck the bill right to my arm! Then the dance was cancelled and we made an unplanned port call due to a storm; some place called Zimmingham or somesuch? I don't remember, but it wasn't on the itinerary. They didn't even give us a guide. The place was pretty run down, but the gift shop was alright; I found some cute stuffed animals for my daughter. Then we were all rushed back on the ship again; now it looks like some of the windows are leaking. They really need to do some maintenance and planning.
PROS: Low rate! Decently accommodated single rooms; nice holographic display to simulate an outside window for everyone. Buffet was good, excepting breakfast.
CONS: Poor service, questionable ship maintenance, EXTREMELY poor planning of the trip. Also, I would like to have known ahead of time that a large group of children were also booking at this time; I took this trip as a vacation and was looking for something relaxing. Not sure how you can make this sort of thing known without violating privacy concerns (maybe a passenger age histogram or something?) but it would have been nice to know so I could have chosen a different date.
RATING: 2 stars out of 5.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND? No.

Most people are less enthusiastic about canned food. But then, most people already have found and tasted something of appropriate size. LINDSAY... SMASH! Now I imagine her becoming green and even bigger. What's with you guys and pokemans? Like there are no quotes from civilized arthropoda. Hulls pop like vibrant seeds. Splashing photons in a void. I am sticky. Is no-one else worried about Lindsey? It wasn't the most elegant landing, she doesn't look that comfortable, I hope this doesn't backfire and end up severely hurting her. Lindsey probably knows what she does. It's not her first day around steel, and she got to have a good idea as to which parts of her are better armored. Being an engineer and all that. And who knows how she uses magic. Hmm, yeah, those glass panels are probably very heavy unless they're some sort of exotic space-age materials. Fragments might not Hollywood but they wouldn't stay exactly where dropped either. Lucky this is a comic. They are very much space-age (some more than others), but transparent plastics in general and variations of safety glass in particular are older than space age. :] How heavy it is? Sure, more than enough to tear the skin and if someone is unlucky, break a toe or something, but that's about it. Besides, most students aren't even in this room. And the only student on this page certified as "pretty unlucky" is Paz.
