Also, might I say it's still shocking how absolutely HUEG Lindsey is? Her huegness is astonishing, I agree*. And it seems like she's bigger in today's page relative to the humans than here, though it could just be camera angle. * zimmyzims beat me to this joke alas haha

Part of her mind operates in another dimension, maybe female Merostomatozons have an attack/defense mechanism to incorporate mass kept in a similar sort of interdimensional hammerspace in order to grow and shrink at will?

Paz looks pretty.. big in that picture. I think the size of both Lindsey and Paz seems right. 8591388Not so sure about the size of the ship.. Compared to page 859, Paz looks about half the size she should be. Assuming Kat and Paz are the same size, compare them both to the...thing (crest? spike?) on Lindsey's head. Even accounting for parallax, Kat looks about 1/2 its size in p859 while today's puts Paz about a quarter of her size. Ship looks roughly right to me, without bothering to find any citations...

It's really wonderful how Mr. Siddell manages to flesh out quite a bit of story/personality out of basically anyone in the story. And Lindsey here looks awe-striking in all her eldritch glory!

So, is anybody else thinking that, having heard of the ship's feelings and intentions towards her, Lindsey is coming to make love with him?

Paz is heugging Lindey's huegness. Time for a new tube of lipstick. This being the quote last time this page appeared. (You must admit that Lindsey would go through a *lot* of lipstick.)

So pleased to see Paz, and some sign of safety for all. The Ship wanted a new body, but Kat wasn't changing the physical structure of the ship, just working with the shipbot's central unit, I guess. Looking forward to seeing what traces remain of any changes, if any. Bunch of the mobiles got crunched, remember, and at least some of the Seraphs may have been damaged.

Time for a new tube of lipstick. This being the quote last time this page appeared. (You must admit that Lindsey would go through a *lot* of lipstick.) I do admit that. The quote goes equally well with this page, doesn't it? I think everyone must also admit this shade of purple suits Lyn well. But really, shouldn't the children disembark or at least be sent to cabins without portholes first? Or they could have Paz dismount at the very least... [implication] Pucker up, Love Boat. [/implication] And correct me if I'm wrong, genteel forum-goers, but isn't this the first time that the gang has had an adventure wherein willingly going to a faculty member has been part of the kids' solution to the problem? And they even asked the robots for help. True, it wasn't the core characters but still...

Ship is covered in vestigal tentacles. Paz is playing a pompon. Lindsey is... uhh... can she screech? Because in this pose she almost have to. Unless it's all way down in infrasonic band, in which case... well, at least it would make the ship tremble and the students finally feel the unholy terror they missed in Zimmyworld.

Looking forward to seeing what traces remain of any changes, if any. Bunch of the mobiles got crunched, remember, and at least some of the Seraphs may have been damaged. Not sure. The ship may have been about to change in a larger scale than it now seems. On previous page its form returned when syphons were destroyed. That probably primarily referred to the Zimmingham disappearing and ship indoors returning, instead, but had they been able to finish the job with the ship, would it have been the whole ship or only the central unit that had turned into a whale... I'm not entirely sure... just that the whale ended up being inside the ship doesn't yet fully convince me, as the operation was interrupted.

Ship is covered in vestigal tentacles. Why do you say "vestigial" tentacles? Kat may know little about whale anatomy but we do know she watches anime...

[sad]No more free cookies.[/such sad] Note the tiny Paz clinging to Lindsey's head WOULD YOU SO KINDLY TAG THESE KINDS OF THREADS AS [SPOILERS] PRETTY PLEASE?!?!?!?! I havent read more than 15-20 of the pages of the last chapter, would prefer not to accidently click these links because someone didn't mention there would be spoilers... And then there's the fact that you wrote "Note the tiny Paz clinging to Lindsey's head" which was just what I needed to know...

It's got blue tentacles and organic material on it that weren't there before. It's like something out of Lovecraft. It looks creepier than Lindsey does (no offense, Lindsey, it's an instinctive reaction). Wild Lindsey appear!!(For anyone who cares, this is the page that was posted by accident a while ago.) As for you, I hate to tell you, but any thread beginning with a number like this one does is a comic-discussion thread. That means we will be talking about the comic that the number is referring to. If you don't want to see spoilers you don't come into comic-discussion threads. This is a known and established practice, talking about the current comic, and we do not need to mark the threads as spoilers.

Note the small detail wrapped around it and extending to our right. It's really wonderful how Mr. Siddell manages to flesh out quite a bit of story/personality out of basically anyone in the story. In this case, in four pages containing - total - eleven panels and four words of irrelevant dialog. (With one other page, not directly relevant, among them.) Paz acted decisively and effectively, putting herself at risk. Something we have not often seen from the kids. If George somehow washes out as the Court's Protector, I nominate Paz as her replacement. Edit: I've added that thought to Wild Spec.

Funny and bizarre mind-screw of the morning. When I came into the thread this morning, I was very happy to read the the first comment about this being the earlier leaked page, because yay, no more wondering! Wild Lindsey appear!!(For anyone who cares, this is the page that was posted by accident a while ago.) [sad]No more free cookies.[/such sad] Note the tiny Paz clinging to Lindsey's head But I started then I was reading down through the thread and saw these two comments in rapid succession and started getting confused: WOULD YOU SO KINDLY TAG THESE KINDS OF THREADS AS [SPOILERS] PRETTY PLEASE?!?!?!?! I havent read more than 15-20 of the pages of the last chapter, would prefer not to accidently click these links because someone didn't mention there would be spoilers... And then there's the fact that you wrote "Note the tiny Paz clinging to Lindsey's head" which was just what I needed to know... I wasn't entirely sure if they were confused or I was, so I hit the "previous page" link on Gunnerkrigg to step back through the comic. Of course, I immediately saw Wednesday's page and my head exploded. It's a crazy page, of course! But also, I started thinking, "Oh crap, THIS is supposed to be today's page, and someone made a new thread again for the leaked page, again. Or else THIS is a leaked page? Somehow I'm seeing two new pages, and that's not right!" The last page I'd seen was Monday's, and today's page flows so smoothly after it that I couldn't put two and two together at first. Obviously I'd just missed Wednesday's update, but I don't believe I've missed an update in probably 5 years now. I literally cannot fathom how that happened. I wasn't sick. It wasn't exactly a holiday. The only explanation I have is that the etheric distortion leaked over a bit, and in my local geographic area Wednesday got skipped.

I just remembered -- I spent nearly the entire day Wednesday fighting with my ISP to restore connectivity! I telecommute so as soon as I got back up, I was so behind on my work that I had to work into the wee hours to get everything caught up before Thanksgiving. The stupid outage screwed up my whole schedule, and checking GKC was a casualty. I feel better now knowing the reason. (I can't help wondering through, if maybe the etheric distortion broke my connectivity? Either that or my ISP leased connectivity through a newly-deployed series of buoys strung across an unknown body of water.)

(For anyone who cares, this is the page that was posted by accident a while ago.) Yeah, that happened. When the wrong page was uploaded, was taken down, of course, though not before a bunch of people commented and those comments get redacted. It happened, I think, after Jenny set off her lipstick-made arcane trap. I missed it myself, but the way they say talked about it a bit, though, you'd think is a page from the next chapter or something.
