I found the pre-order for the new paperback volume 1 one archonia. here: www.archonia.com/comicshop/en/article/210553/gunnerkrigg+court+tp+vol+01/The first 2 volumes where published by Archaia Sudios Press but volume 3 and say it is published by Boom studios. This might have been obvious for some but I didn't notice. Does this mean that volumes 1 and 2 will re-released through the new publisher? The paperback is but is this even possible? Can someone enlighten me. I wouldn't mind, it means that the early volumes will be more available. Edit: For those interested, volume 1,3 and 4 can be bought from the boom studios website, they are in stock! So this confirms it I guess?

This seems interesting. I suppose the quality of these books will be better.

Don't forget that Archaia was bought by BOOM! Studios in 2013, but they could still be using the name as an imprint. Amazon delivered my Volume 3 hardback a few months ago. I ordered from this web page: www.amazon.de/gp/product/1936393239 . When I return home in a few days I will check the publisher and number of pages - sometimes Amazon has incorrect details, but I'm fairly certain the ISBN 978-1-936393-23-7 matched. Amazon has the paperback Volume 1 available for pre-order for Euros 12.30 at www.amazon.de/Gunnerkrigg-Court-Vol-1-Orientation/dp/160886703X , free delivery for some countries near to Germany. Other Amazons are quoting from 16 to 20 Euros for hardback volumes 3 and 4.

I don't know if there has actually been a change in publisher, but I will say that my copy of Volume 3 was of extremely low quality (through Archaea, I think). Let's hope these are better...

I asked on the livestream today: indeed, Archaia was merged into BOOM!, but they still publish it under Archaia name. But technically, the publisher did not change, it's just the company name that is now ambiguous.
