To be honest, it's hard to blame Rey for looking a bit lost when jumping on a boat to a hole in the sea and ending up crashing to a Zimminghammed ship (whatever it is).

no big change for Rey and the robot's? ? i am a little disappoint They weren't caught in the reality flux. They jumped in after the reality was stable, presumably. Though we have not seen any other robots from the crusading army yet, to be fair.

Also, no more speedboat jumps,Tom? How very disappointing. He said "possibly". There is hope! He also said it's possibly the only ones planned! From here on out it's gonna be spontaneous "aw heck, why not!" speedboat jumps being strewn throughout the background of random panels! Consequently, the vast majority of future chapters will be taking place on or near various oceans, seas, lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks, tributaries and fjords.

Wait, wait, so Rey's plan was to destroy one siphon, not all of them, and then jump in, almost dying in the process? W-why?

Shock can't kill a plushie. But apparently it can stun him, and that can kill you in Zimmingham. And what would happen if all of the siphons were destroyed? Would the reality collapse, killing everyone inside?

The boat must be made of something crazy strong to have come out of that intact. The robots as well. Random question - can Rey possess a robot?

Wait, wait, so Rey's plan was to destroy one siphon, not all of them, and then jump in, almost dying in the process? W-why? The robots seem to have a pretty decent understanding of Zimmy's powers, and believe that whatever changes are made within this pocket, will be permanent. This isn't like before when everyone was fine in the real world but just inside of Zimmy's psyche, they have physically been put somewhere else. Which means, chances are their positions will stay if they were suddenly transported back. So nearly all of the students would be in the middle of the ocean. Even if not, the ship is clearly not a good place to be right now. Even assuming it's capable of floating currently, I can't imagine it's safe to be on. And of course, we don't know if destroying all the siphons would ever bring the kids back at all, it might just break the portal, leaving the kids trapped in Zimmy's mind. And it's been establishes Rey can possess anything with eyes, so he could almost assuredly posses a robot. Not quite sure what would happen to it after he left if he did so though.

Random question - can Rey possess a robot? Yes. Or at least, he can possess a photograph with eyes (or even a potato), so it's reasonable to assume he can do the same to a robot.

Or the sea could rush back into that pit we saw, drowning them all. Better to handle it delicately rather than destroying all of the siphons.

Random question - can Rey possess a robot? As long as it has eyes. Wonder if it would break after he left it?

Okay... and what did destroying that one siphon do? DFrom what it looks like, opened a small tear in the center of the whirlpool/Zimmy's world that the ships could pass through. Since it's up in the air in the middle of nowhere though, nothing else got in or out. EDIT: That's what it looks like to me anyway, I guess we'll see if it was larger than that soon enough.

If only there was a Renard roleplayer here...that would be a perfect avatar. (single tear)

Well, that rescue went as well as expected.
(Shadow would have caught Robot and fluttered gently to the ground. Yes?)

Not sure what those boats are made of, but that looks like at least a 25-metre drop, assuming those boats are only 5 metres tall. Those robots must be expert shipbuilders.

Potatorey or YoungBrinniephotorey?

The only time we see it from the outside is in 1417, and I certainly am not seeing a large city with a oat in it down there.

Wait, wait, so Rey's plan was to destroy one siphon, not all of them, and then jump in, almost dying in the process? W-why? Because they can't be sure it's a safer option than trying to raid-and-grab? This way, if the bubble will collapse, it's likely to happen more gradually and thus give everyone time to deal with the consequences.

You have to admit... it's super effective! Okay, I'll crawl back into my hole. Poor Rey, though. That... looked painful.
