Beats tear gas and rubber bullets, I suppose. (Hmm, I wonder if Ys gave her that talk on how to deal with creatures who can neutralise fire?)
Meanwhile, these robots are getting serious.

Are we about to find out what Winsbury's secret X-Men power is? Maybe. He is suspiciously in front.

Huh. I guess the Court has to have means to suppress the abilities of their students if they have to. But now, is nobody else seriously going to help Annie to fight the robots?

Where did the seraphs get so in tune with the ether that they could create something like that?
Unless there's a how to guide on the etheric-interwebs

Wonder how long the sticker is effective for? Also, if it is only blocking fire-type abilities will we see Annie try and use other powers? And does fighting robots count as aiding Zimmy as far as Gamma's power usage goes?

Also... what you doin' there Winsbury? Coming to the rescue perhaps? Janet is conspicuously not by his side at the moment. Wonder if we'll see her springing to action.

So the robots are getting more and more openly antagonistic - going against a ship full students with unknown, and possibly volatile, abilities/powers.
Amplified emotions, more than likely anger..

I really hope that Winsburys power is to become Hulk-like but retain his natural head size.

If the robots have access to the court's files on all the students they may actually understand the students powers better than the students do themselves. Anyone notice how the serph seems to be acting like a ref giving a yellow card here?

Just in case we doubted Anja, the Ether really does work like a computer program.

Hmm... Interesting that something like a talisman, runes, or similar works on Annie. Just in case we doubted Anja, the Ether really does work like a computer program. Point. -- I agree that I am also interested to find out if she will be using/is able to use her other powers, since only her "fire-type" ones are blocked.

Edit: this looks less like a Pokémon reference than I hoped it would be, and more like something that came out of nowhere...

I predict that the paper is only effective as long as it remains attached to Antimony and that as soon as she (or someone else) rips it off, she will regain her abilities. I suspect that this page serves less to give a meaningful obstacle now than to introduce the idea that objects of this sort (symbols) can have very powerful effects. Perhaps Mr. Siddell is setting up for a future event where the implementation of a more permanent (and, perhaps, more powerful or even dire) version of such an item would otherwise appear too much as a Deus Ex Machina.
