I haven't read all the threads lately, has anyone suggested the alternate title of "Shipwreck" for this storyline?

Anyone else wondering if seeing Zimmy in danger is going to trigger Gamma's abilities to become more active? Tho I suspect the other is more likely and Zimmy will snap seeing Gamma in danger, which may be to the ship's plan.

On one hand I think Lindsey should barge in as a giant Dea Ex Machina any moment now, since Annie and possibly Paz should be able to contact her without the robots knowing (plus shouldn't there be at least some chaperones?!).
On the other hand that wouldn't be Tom's style I think.
Combining Kat's and Zimmy's abilities, while the latter is deadly afraid of even going near the former, likely with reason?!
No way that could go wrong

Zimmy is the "etheric generator", and since Gamma is her suppressor mechanism, the robots have to separate them from one another for their plan to work. And Zimmy's presumably reacting because she's being forcefully separated from Gamma. And robots can use violence against students. That's still not quite clear. They are using force, but they're not actually hurting Zimmy or Gamma. Things aren't looking good, all things considered. This chapter now keeps flipping between silly and terrifying like it was going out of style. I guess we'll at least find out whether the robots have any presence in Zimmingham... |

She's about as big as the ship, which by the way is in the middle of a storm. Anything I can think of she could possibly do to the ship in order to stop this madness would at the same time pose a serious threat to the kids. So far, I'm guessing, they were counting on the robots for that. Oh man, me and my silly predictions. I don't think this ending with a fight Lindsey vs. Cruise Ship is all that unlikely any more. But make that a cybernetic Cruise Ship and Zimmingham the arena. Edit: By the way, does anyone else think Zimmignham-Reynardine from back in Dobranoc Gamma has some distinctively mechanical features? |
