[Neon_Knight]

A userbar is a small horizontal image generally used in message boards or other chat zones. They generally display something about the user, such as what he likes or uses. They're used in the Signature area. Here are some GKC themed userbars.

As long as they're small, fine. Large ones are a bad idea, as it doesn't matter how interesting a picture is the first time you see it, it goes from boring to outright annoying very quickly thereafter, if it shows up multiple times in a single thread. I could wish for smaller pictures on the left, also, but at least they aren't page wide.

Neon_Knight Is there a special reason you chose 19x320? I agree with goldenknots they should't be to big, but 19 pixels high is really small. And which font are you using?

I personally prefer them this small, though. This way their height is about the same as normal-sized text, and thus not very distracting.

19px is some sort of unwritten standard, though 20px ubs aren't uncommon. Usually it's 350px wide, so I dunno about that. The font is Visitor.

This forum doesn't dictate and any maximum dimensions, but I've seen multiple where the fluff/content ratio is shocking, and you can rarely ever fit more than one post on an entire 1366x768 screen.
Proboards is bad enough with its padding.. consensus to not go crazy with these?

I gave it a try, not really pleased with the result though (ou can hardly see the nobody, I'll have to make it brighter). This is a lot of work for such a little thing. I'll put in more effort when I have more time (and a bigger coputer). But I like the idea.

Time is an issue here, because of the size it's a bit of a puzzle to get something recognizable in. But you could make this things on a 15 year old PC without noticing a difference. I like your nobody though.

I'm thinking about some buttons for the links in my sig, or a matching avatar and userbar.

I'm using Visitor TT2, though I forgot the size the font should have for UBs.
About the size, some userbar sites reject userbars of 20px high.

Oh, so it isn't 320? The tutorial I found said 320. I'll try with 350.
The font being like that is because I forgot which fontsize is the adequate one. -.-

That (and other details) forces me to recreate all the 'bars I did. :/

'Attending to Matters' is great.

Just, "I attend to matters" sounds so absolutely unreal. Yes, already "I have matters to attend to" is something nobody would say, but "I attend to matters" sounds so much more vague, it's close to nonsensical. That's why I liked it.
