Crash avoided, for now?Or is it? Are we just dancing to make believe nothing is happening, not seeing it is on our own graves we dance?

Know what would be really cute and probably won't happen? Gamma getting Zimmy to dance with her, even if it is behind the curtain and not with the crowd.

Gamma's going to go ask Annie to dance, they are the only two (besides Zimmy) who aren't. And I still reckon this chapter is about Gamma discovering friends and enjoying herself outside Zimmy and Zimmy not taking it very well.

^-^ I like this page. No crisis with Jack just yet, that beautiful sixth panel (I just love Gamma, so much), and sexy Kat laying the moves on Paz... Indeed, there is much to like. Also, Two Strange Girls is on Youtube! I've been waiting for this one especially, and I got exactly what I was hoping for (hints of the original pre-Gunnerkrigg art and stories involving the pair). EDIT: -sigh- Tom continues to impress. Those standalone images of Zimmy are giving me chills...

Is that Becky Boppin' back there?

The last two panels are exceptionally awesome. Tom's really gotten better at drawing profiles.
I think that's the calm before the storm; that Jack/Zimmy situation is going to explode (possibly, but not likely, literally)
On this page I would completely identify with Annie, perfectly happy with not being on the dance floor myself and watching those who like that sort of thing having fun with it. Seems to mirror her actions at the recent PARTY in the forest.
The Two Strange Girls video was really interesting.

The Two Strange Girls video was really interesting. Interestingly, last week when Tom put up Ch3 & 4, I was also directed to Ch5 of the 'animated' version that some fans have put together. It was pretty good, although that's as far as they appear to have got.

It's easy to feel sorry for a lot of characters here. Oddly enough, Jenny is the first one that jumps to mind for me. If the 'Honey' appellation is heartfelt, she likes Jack, but he's still hung up on Zimmy. That's gonna suck eventually.

... this isn't really happening, is it? And Jack, for some reason, senses that... where the others can't, or don't want to.

Also, now I ship Gamma X Annie

Can't think of anything to add for the moment, except that Kat's got some moves.
And also, if if Zimmy and Gamma are going to dance behind that curtain, I can rightfully say "called it", even though I did it mostly for a joke. If they do, I'm sure that Zimmy has two left feet.

Is that Becky Boppin' back there? It certainly looks like Becky, and I think that may be Matt dancing with her. We previously saw Matt and Becky together in the background. The color of the shirt is a little different, but it is close enough for anyone who wants to believe that it is Matt.

The first one would be great, we should bribe Tom to make that happen The second one is more likely, although I'm not sure either of them knows how to dance.

I cant help but squee a little everytime Kat and Paz do something. I really want one of the other students to talk with them about them going out though. Id love to see how they feel about having gay classmates the same way we discussed it here on the forums.

No! This is absolutely horrible. Everyone is having fun instead of there being magic battles. What is wrong with these kids???

So... this page is adorable. Just gotta get that out there.
Also, kinda hard to feel bad for Annie being alone there, considering she doesn't actually seem to mind.

Small chance the "other" world is already leaking through, eg Jenny sounds like Jeanne and looks like Zimmy, and last time Zimmy played switch personalities. (So for example Jenny could be a fragment of Zimmy that liked Jack)
If this follows horror convention, everything will go swell then someone will scream and someone will be found dead. (Though with Zimmy around may only be fake dead)

If this follows horror convention Well, let's see, so far we've got a bunch of teenagers off on a trip in/to an enclosed space that's difficult to escape, a creepy guy that no one gives heed to as he spouts insane-sounding premonitions of danger, and even though it was a bit early, an eldritch abomination. Now we just need some unprotected sex and casual drug abuse so we can get this slasher started good and proper! I'm just going to point out that Annie seems to be quite happy with what she sees from there and get that out of the way for you guys. Once is an accident, twice is a coincidence, now we just gotta wait and see if it hits more sinister territory.

Hmm I am really interested in the form of dance that Annie is performing. 'Interpretive' is my guess. She can't dance right now; she's busy generating funky music so everyone else can. She's doing traditional burlesque parody; currently she's a person on a chair. That's not actually her, it's a deflatable decoy Antimony made from twigs, leaves and a garden hose. She's training for the musical chairs deathmatch; the definite grand finale of the evening. "After Carver apprehended the killer chair, the party could resume" Sorry, I'm really tired. Also here's another, slightly more serious, if weird theory; she's actually dancing in etherical form. Because no one tells Carver she can't break dance.

I cant help but squee a little everytime Kat and Paz do something. You know a funny thing 'bout having a face as an avatar is that when people read your text they imagine it being said by and with that given face. And this phrase is just absolutely hilarious to be said with the face in your avatar.
