Ack! You're too quick. How do I delete a thread? You go to the thread, and at the top right corner of the OP you choose to delete it. Edit: by the way, I'm waiting for Daedalus to come and tell how long time I wasted to create this thread.

Awe, don't be a third wheel Annie!

Well that was brutal (as I read the page). I suppose a benefit of being a stoic is not realizing when people want you gone.

ZimmyZims' thread was first (by 19 seconds) how do I delete this one? You can't: everyone has to delete their own posts from it. Elysium, arf, thedoomblahsong: posts to remove on the other thread... Putting this here so I don't have to remember to delete my own.

Depends. My group of friends (+dates) all dance together in a big circle with any couples going off to do their thing then coming back. Maybe we're weird though.

This chapter we learned that Paz is fond of dresses with poofy skirts. How does it even stay rigid like that.

Maybe we'll witness her being jealous of Jack as she's alone, third wheeling, and then maybe a complicated drama involving Zimmy, Jack, Jack's Zimmy-substitute, can't remember her name, and Annie, with maybe smaller roles played by Kat and Paz. But honestly, I think there's something bigger going on in here. I can't see the Court just arranging a cruise like that without no hidden agenda.

Also, can you smell the awkwardness? Mmm.

Kat looks like a dude... Whatever. Also, can you smell the awkwardness? Mmm. Oh, the sweet scent of awkwardness of the other people. Edit: God dammit, now that I think of this, I should have had "Oh... haha, yeah!" either as the thread title, or more so as the OP link phrase. Repeating that last panel dialogue in the thread title and link would have really captured how awkward they sound there.

I'm finally emerging from my month-long journey of anonymity to proclaim that Kat looks super hot. Also Paz is pretty freaking adorable too. And Annie looks lovely as well.
I can see the trio dancing together for a couple of nice gaudy pop songs, or just anything that involves senseless hopping (which is a damn workout in heels), but as soon as a slow song appears, the two little nerds inadvertently push Annie off to the side. Then she crashes into Jack who is staring at Zimmy, who in turn had left Gamma to get her some punch in a small moment of injudiciousness while essentially turning the dance floor into flames because our favorite ether dampener is too thirsty and then sinking the ship with Jack crying for "just one date" as Jenny peels off her skin suit to reveal a very terrible robot.
Or they all just dance. Ha.
But Tom did state some time ago that were nearing the end of the fifth book. So this may very well be a simple dance chapter indicating a closing year with bits of character growth thrown in and subtle plot elements hinted at that may emerge sometime later.
Anyway, happy first post!

Kat looks like a dude... Whatever. I was thinking she looked kinda like Eric, sans the red belt. Paz ain't no Ariel, though.

I can't see the Court just arranging a cruise like that without no hidden agenda. I read it as Paz just worrying that Annie will be on her own. I don't see why they would mind that Annie third-wheels with them. Also they're fourteen and come from a boarding school in the middle of a vast, desolate wasteland, have they even been to parties, let alone are familiar with the concept of third-wheeling? zimmyzims well it is called the torn sea, and with this comic I've learned to take stuff like that literally. With a title like that, and this many characters around I get the feeling that something really big is going to happen, something that will impact the plot down the line, unlike residential and faraway morning which had a similar mix of characters. I think the ship is going to break down or something and the various characters will need to be saved, and the comic will take a turning point into overdrive action mode. Or I've just seen too many movies.

I don't know if everybody knows yet that Paz and Kat are together, but considering how both of them dress, EVERYBODY will know soon.

My other post cut and pasted:
Addressing Annie directly? Pas *is* getting brave.
I wonder if William and Janet will be as open in their relationship as Kat and Paz?
Otherwise: Geek Girls Rule.

Oh, great, that's not awkward. Not at all.
So much nice potential for drama building up. Jack, Jenny, Zimmy, Gamma, Annie, Kat, Paz; All at one dance. Many combinations of these could (sometimes literally) explode.
So, are KatPaz *out* now? It's one thing when things aren't "a secret secret", it's another to attend a school dance together.
Kat continues to nicely pull off the slightly butch look.

Paz and Kat have been together for at least a month. I'm sure Paz and Annie have gotten to know each other better, we just haven't seen it till now.

The top panel, which is probably the least conspicuous, reminded me of something. Just where did the Court get a sea to cruise on? Could it possibly be connected to the etheric collection grid?

Perhaps some startling revelation will be made. The past couple of chapters involved Jeanne, and then we get one individual chapter concerning Annies formal transition into her medium role. Now, we have this seemingly calm and cute chapter. Tom is good at presenting innocuous plot hints in fillers, and I can actually understand the expectation of something interesting happening.
Also, Kats heels make her considerably taller.
Smart girls. Chose flats. How many girls do I know who spent their money on heels to take for an individual e ent only to take them off within the first half hour.

I don't know. Totally awesome, but kinda pointless dance parties with the whole cast right before the grand finale are all the rage now: Orphan Black spoiler ahead
