Just as much a vacation for Lindsey as it is for the kids, seems like.

We have some informal panel arrangement here. (I hope that dude with a camera doesn't post it to Youtube) Just a much a vacation for Lindsey as it is for the kids, seems like. Yeah, she seems happy to be out of her tank. (I wonder if she has enough space there?)

Yeah, she seems happy to be out of her tank. (I wonder if she has enough space there?) I'd think it'd be like going to a track to race. Your house has enough room to live in, but when you wanna cut loose and run, you need a good open area.

Speaking of faces, Annie's gone to the chipperverse again

That would be a rather spectacular sight.
And despite our jokes last page about who could see up her skirt, I really love Paz's dress. I love how it billows and flows in the breeze. It looks very cute on her.

Hmmm... looks like Kat and Paz don't have much in common.
Dun dun DUUUUN
is this the beginning... of the end?
Also does anyone else really want lobster now? Would a giant lobster actually taste good.

Becky & Kat seem to disagree, Paz. (She IS beautiful, though...) Becky? Is that the blonde girl? Have we seen her before? It is a pretty page though.

C'mon Kat! You've even touched her. (A phobia acquired from Annie, ironically) Um. Becky? Blonde girl in shorts? I don't recall her being named.

Kat still seems to be freaked out by her. At least random camera guy appreciates her. C'mon Kat! You've even touched her. (A phobia acquired from Annie, ironically) Um. Becky? Blonde girl in shorts? I don't recall her being named. Her name is indeed Becky, as a more attentive forumite informed recently pointed out to me. Beckie Ground, and I never understood why Janet was so hostile to her in this page. Petty as it seems, maybe Janet was hostile because Beckie tried being in front of her. From the Word of Tom: gunnerkrigg.wikia.com/wiki/Word_of_Tom:_Other_students "Did Janet ever have the same sort of problems Kat did making friends?" - "Kind of, but she dealt with them differently." Kat was nice and didn't make friends. gunnerkrigg.com/?p=396
Maybe Janet's belligerence earned her some QN friends and fear/respect from QS students.

That... still doesn't explain where we know her name from? edit: Nevermind

Hey, doesn't that page look... off? I mean, isn't Lindsey leaping into the air above the water behind them? Aren't they facing the wrong way?
Or is it just me?

Like I said, unconventional panel arrangements. There's actually two different camera angels. One of the angels is on the deck, filming Lindsey, and the other one is hovering between and below Lindsey and the students.

Tom clearly defines his panes with a black border. Panel three is one continuous shot. The girls are on the deck looking over the railing. You can see water behind them and that continues all the way out to where Lindsey is leaping into the air. Far far behind them. I don't see how it can be separate panels.

You're saying that the ship is tilted at a 30 degree angle (extremely dangerous for a normal cruise ship) and that Lindsey is jumping out of the water, but the students are looking at something even more exciting? edit: Oh, and the students are standing upright relative to the (closer to 20 degrees) tilted ship, despite no balance problems at all. Maybe the ship has an artificial gravity generator - I'm sure the court have developed them for use on spaceships. all joking aside, I really can't see how it was one shot. Besides, you only have to look at any ether scene to see that Tom doesn't always define borders clearly.

I am not sure where you get that I ever said the ship was tilted, listing or capsizing. Look at the horizon. The "camera" is at an angle, so if the railing is too, that is just the angle of the shot. All I said was the water appears to be behind the girls, not in front.

What I see is an angle of the girls looking over the railing superimposed on a shot of Lindsey breaching. Assuming it's one shot has ominous implications to me. I suppose there's no reason, or good way, to argue the point beyond that.
