Is that Zimmy? She has changed a lot, and looks better even, eyes aren't red though? Jack has changed a good deal since we last saw him too.
I wonder how Gamma is doing though, now that Zimmy no longer needs her symbiotic relationship?

Jack??? He looks pretty mature for a 15 year old. I am not sure who that girl is that he is with, but definitely not Zimmy. At least that is my vote.
Then again, Tom's comment of "These guys??" implies that we know both of them. Any other ideas?

Well, the whole class is entering puberty, so, of course Zimmy would change. Though it's practically a night vs day difference. It's more than just puberty, though. She's smiling, changed her clothes, and she's clean. Didn't really see that when Gamma was her only friend. Funny how we're all sort of the fence about whether or not it's really her. |

Annie was definately trying to get away, I can't really see how that can be interpreted differently. Therefore, one of the couple must be a person she recognizes on sight, and who recognize her on sight, and the only ones matching that description are Zimmy and Jack.  I'm pretty sure that Annie liked Jack, at least to some degree, and that she did what she did in Faraway Morning because she was still angry about what he did to Renard. Likewise, I think Jack really did reciprocate, and that his behavior since then has been in retaliation, trying to make Annie jealous. Then again, I could be completely wrong. Never was too good at all this relationship stuff  |

The only other gothic-esque girl in GK that I know of is Parleys friend, Cookie, but she isn't really goth, plus she is like 18 I think. |

Jack is certainly ahead, but not impossibly so. I would like to think I look like that (I have a 1/2 inch beard and respectable sideburns) and I'm only 14. However, it does seem like a coincidence that it happened to both of them. Also, Zimmy going through puberty sounds horrific and dangerous. |
