I figure an adorable little hanger, on in a convenient corner.

"Gotta go get my wings." *flies off* Props. They just get in the way. On reflection, it is actually quite rare for a Gunnerkrigg page to have a comic punchline.

What's with all the aviation terminology today? (I know this one is stretching it a bit. I've been playing too much War Thunder, got plains on the brain.)

Props. They just get in the way. Yup. Still amused me though. Wildspec here, but it seems that they can't be *completely* useless, seeing how their education evidently requires it. (assuming of course their school system isn't as terrible and worthless as ours)

And another GMTA sync with Paranatural. "Gotta go get my wings." *flies off* Props. They just get in the way. The drag would slow down flight, but may also improve maneuverability. Fancy flying may be as important as the decorative side in formal circumstances.

Interesting now need Annie think of a new test. (the old one she liked not at all) I think that will not by a easy task and will be maybe a party killer for Annie.

Her first official task is to kill a fluffy bunny. There's no way this can go wrong...

I think one of the things that stood out for me in this page is 'daaaamn, those fairies must drink a lot of fluids'
Wings don't power themselves, I guess

Forest creature logic is so endearing! cx I'm thinking Annie has probably given the test some thought, but I might being overly optimistic. I wonder how long Green would have been sitting there gloomily if Pinky hadn't come along? I'm guessing wings are a kind of traditional garb, used for formal occasions? Sorta like a tuxedo. I'm also wondering how much of the rules it's possible for Annie to change. Like, couldn't she theoretically allow animals-turned-human to continue to live in the forest?

Huh. I'll give myself a third of a cookie for mentioning wings facetiously on the last thread.

I guess they're cultural, like the hatidarbuningur or the Scottish kilt, and are meant for formal/semi-formal occasions. I bet they have wonderful fashion scrolls. Right now, Green may be going through her closet and trying to decide which is more impressive, Fall or Spring colors. Now, I wonder what hipster fairies wear? Flying Fish fins? Helicopter propellers?

Che Guevara shirts, except that Che Guevara has Ysengrin's face.
Edit: Ironic t-shirts that say, "STEP ON ME -- I'M A FOLEY STUDENT"

I imagine a fairy flying about a foot above everyone else in the forest: "My wings? They're made of carbon nanotubes, it's a pretty rare thing, you've probably never heard of it..."

I'm guessing Annie will have to brain the jackalope while Coyote laughs, unless she brains him instead...turning him into a human.
