Chaos isn't always destructive? that's all I got. Oh just wait -- Coyote's parties get pretty destructive. Who do you think Theseus learned his partying skills from?

I give it two hours before the party hat edits start coming in.
In all seriousness, this is vastly different from how the court handles things.. Is it because it's the forest and they're just like that, or because it's not headed by Ysengrin and Headmaster?

And there is still someone gloomy You mean little Green, of course. But Jones isn't partying (no hat). And I can't quite tell what George and Smitty are doing. They appear more startled and confused than celebratory to me. I wonder what Coyote's going to do if/when he sees his suggestion/mandate/command to party is not being unanimously embraced/followed?

Why are you discussing the comic instead of partying?

Hats, hats everywhere. (Just used Partyhatify and took a screenshot. Sorry. Please someone make a proper version of this, I just did it to beat Gotolei's time limit.)

And on a different note, has anyone figured out what the significance of the earthen ledge is there in panel 2? It's featured in several pages recently. I can't tell if it's just there as an analogue to what would be a dais in a human court (though it appears the hall used by the Court has a sunken center with raised edges rather than a dais) or if it's something else.
In any event, it's quite large and seems like it would have to be either recent or maintained in order to be in the state we see it. Did Coyote and Ysengrin make this Forest hall special for just this occasion, perhaps?

I think the Green Fairy (aka absinthe, come to think of it) and Jones will end up having a quiet chat against the wall.
We may be about to find out how Smitty's evening two-step routine's been coming along.
(Ache water. Hmmm...!)

The Party seeks power only for its own sake. What pure power means you will understand presently.
(It probably means a fierce doubles match of beer pong.)

Personally, I assumed it's just the stage being at a higher level than the area around it. I'm not sure there's necessarily much of a significance (although I wouldn't be particularly surprised if there is).

Here is some appropriate music For the party:
Also at some point Coyote may have this mode on if you anger him.

I read the first "Party", as if said in a dignified, refined, and gentlemanly manner. The rest, not so much. I think the Green Fairy (aka absinthe, come to think of it) and Jones will end up having a quiet chat against the wall. If she's distressed over something Forest/Court related then that seems reasonable, and Absinthe seems reasonable(it always does). But if her distress is over someone there, I'd think she'd approach them. Friday may say, but I bet we'll have to wait for June 30th... 2017.

I called it! I so knew it! Hahahahahahahahahaha. She's going to a party! But she's all out of cake. :c Frogbox is going to the party too! He's pretty awesome. I bet Ysengrin is the party planner. . . . On the contrary, I bet any party planned by Ysengrin would be pretty crazy. I was channeling the Coyote. In other news, those party hats are great. Thank you, Fwip.

(Ysengrin, give me some good floral streamers and some weed. Then maybe you won't just stand around being useless and ruin my party.)

Coyote rolls his many eyes and gives Ys back the memory of what 'weed' means. He had removed that memory originally after an epic frat party where they both got wasted. Man, could you imagine what Coyote would have been like if he were in college?? That would be a fun fanfic to write.

That would be a fun fanfic to write. Yesengrin spends a few seconds puzzling over how he hadn't known that and just grows some weed... plant... things with his cool powers.
...Has anyone ever wrote like a human AU for the non-human characters of GKC?
